Chapter 204: Beginning the test

As they walked to where Euryale directed, the reasoning for the specific location became obvious immediately. This region of the basin was large and surrounded by a greater density of trees while the area itself had a fairly even distribution of different terrains. One region of the massive 'clearing' had a cluster of trees while most of the area was instead quite sparse. In one corner, there were hundreds of giant lily pads while elsewhere it was shallow enough for one to only be ankle deep while standing on gnarled roots. In a different corner, the water became deeper and even dove down into a massive ravine.
