" Oh...Peter Mungai. " I utter shaking hands with her.
" My apologies ma'am. " I add.
" For what? " She asks.
" For...for... " I stutter.
" The lunch date? " She queries.
" Exactly ma'am. " I reply.
" Hey you are making me feel old by the 'ma'am' thing, Maggie will do...and you don't have to worry about the lunch date. " She says.
" Oh....kay...if you say so. " I reply.
" I'm sorry to inform you that there are no open posts that match your level of education_ " I cut her short.
" I'll do anything, even if it's a cleaners job. "
" A cleaners job! Hell no! Eva will kill me for that, and besides you are a Phd holder in business Administration. " She replies.
" About Eva, I'll handle her and about being a Phd holder, it doesn't hinder me from doing a cleaners job. I mean, how many jobless graduates are out there....being a cleaner is far more better than being jobless. " I utter.
" Mmmmh! Fine but that's not a permanent position. We'll work something out. " She states as I hand her my papers.
" Sure, so when do I start work? " I query.
" Tomorrow. " She says.
" Am okay with that. And the salary if I may ask? " I query.
" It's not that much and I don't know for sure but it's between 10 to I think 15k. " She replies.
What the hell in the world am I going to do with that? It's barely a quarter of what I used to get as my monthly allowance!
" I'm good with that. " I reply.
" You sure? " She asks.
" Absolutely. See you around and thanks for the job. " I utter as I shake hands with her and turn to leave then suddenly a lady walks into the room giving me a disgusted look.

Stacia's POV
I walk into Maggie's office to meet a shaggy, dirty looking man on his way out. I wait till he's out of the office, " Maggie? How did that beggar find his way to your office of all the offices in Atexx? " I ask.
" First am the reason to why he looks like that....I accidentally knocked him down and he ended knocking a cleaners bucket that_ " I cut her short.
" So you brought him to your office to clean him up or what? " I ask spinning on a seat.
" I had an appointment with him. " She utters and I scoff.
" Alright, have got some gist for you. " I say.
" Can't wait. " She replies.
" Peter is in town and you can't believe what I saw him do today. " I say and she laughs.
" Why are you laughing? " I query.
" Nothing, so what was he doing? " She asks.
" Driving a mat. " I reply.
" Are you sure you saw him? " She asks. " Mmmh! Am sure. " I reply.
" Then who's the guy that just left? " She asks.
" I don't know. " I reply and she gives me an envelope she's holding.
" What! He's peter? Thank goodness I didn't insult him. " I mutter.

Peter's POV.
As I walk out of the elevator those who were giving me disgusted looks are looking at me somehow differently and others greeting me with a 'Sir'. Well I guess that by now the whole of the building knows who I am.

Phanice's POV.
As am seated in my office going through the newspaper, Mercy, my PA walks in.
" Morning Ma'am. " She greets.
" What's good about this morning? " I ask my eyes still on the newspaper.
" Nothing ma'am, take a look at this. " She says handing me an iPad.
I place the paper on my desk and take a look at the iPad.
" What's the meaning of this. " I ask.
" That's peter_ " I cut her short.
" I can clearly see that....am not blind! " I shout smashing the iPad on the floor. He'll surely get it from me today.
" Is Eva in? " I ask.
" She hasn't signed in yet ma'am. " Mercy replies.
" Anything else? " I query.
" No ma'am. " She utters.
" Get out. " I say turning to my newspaper.

Eva's POV.
As I take my breakfast in the dinning, my phone rings.

" Mom's gonna kill him! " I mutter under my breath as I try over and over reaching him but his phone is off.
Peter's POV.
As I walk towards Voke's ma3.
" Kumeendaje P? (How did it go? )" Voke queries.
" Nimeget job. (I'VE been hired. )" I reply.
" Na si hii shati yako ilkua white asubuhi rada sahii inakaa blue brown white? (This shirt of yours was white in the morning why does it look blue brown white. )" He asks.
" A long story...I'll tell you all about it later....I'll be moving in with you till I get my own place...if that's okay with you? " I utter.
" Karibu getto brassa(Welcome to the ghetto brother. )" He replies.
" Thanks. " I say. " Unamashugli za kudoo amaaje? (Have any plans? )" He asks.
" Not really. " I reply.
" Hata gari imejaa ingia tusake doo(The mat is full get in let's make money. )" He says as he slides into the mat. I walk to the drivers seat and drive out of the BS.
