Chapter 5: Visiting The Auction House
It was a extra gain for Leon. He took out his concentration from his mana pool and looked at his spatial bag. There were so many thinks he didn't need or didn't have any use for it. It was nice chance to sell them to the auction house which would sell the four of order. But also there was things he would never sell; Core of the tower spirit and the dimensional portal or the books that he found in the library of the school.
Leon looked through the window and saw that sun was still there and he didn't take much of his time when he was opening mana pool, he sat up and went to the first floor to dine. When he got the first floor all of the tables were taken and only place to eat was the bar section of the inn which was in front of the innkeeper. Leon sat down there and ordered his meal and started to talk the innkeeper.
"Do you know how can I find a butler?"
Innkeeper raised an eyebrow and looked at the Leon which was looking like a teenager and said
"Lad, you should let your old man handle that kind of job."
"I might look like this but I am a magus." Smilingly said Leon.
When Innkeeper heard Leon, he was terrified and also the ones who heard them too. The innkeeper hurriedly bowed
"Lord Magus, forgive this mortal for his ignorance."
Leon dismissively waved his hands and "There is no need to apologize, so just tell me where can I find a butler."
Seeing Leon didn't take any offense, innkeeper wiped his sweat with back of his hands and started think. Leon also didn't urged him, because he knew that his question wasn't one of the everyday questions. After a few seconds innkeeper shook his head
"Forgive me, Lord Magus but I don't know."
Leon sighed in disappointment "No problem, I was just casually asking." and continued to eat. Then he noticed that the innkeeper was playing with his hands and steeling glances from him like a maiden kouhai who was going to confess to her senpai. Leon said;
"Spit out."
"huh"
"Spit out, what you want to say don't wiggle like that."
"Um... Lord Magus, did you came for the four of order?"
"Yeah I did." said Leon and looked at the innkeeper questioningly. And the innkeeper continued
"Then, you'll definitely become a noble my lord."
"Why do you said that?"
"My lord, there is no magus who want buy it and mortals wouldn't have much money to compete with a magus."
"So you're saying there is no contestant for me in the auction?"
"Yes, Even though the nobility of the empire made up from magus, they don't want to expend their money or their manpower to claim a new land."
Leon nodded and asked if he knew which auction house would sell the the four of order, after learning he leaved the inn went there. The auction house was in the inner area of the city and it took around an hour to get there.
Leon entered in the auction house and went to the receptionist, receptionist noticed him and asked with a professional smile;
"Welcome to the Loren's Auction House, how may I help you?"
"I came here to auction some of my things." Saying that Leon took something valuable from his spatial bag and showed her. Seeing he was using spatial bag and the thing he took out, receptionist became serious.
"Sir, I would like to invite you to upstairs and meet with the manager."
Hearing that Leon nodded and followed the receptionist. The reason for him to do that was to made her say that. Soon after two of them entered in room and she said she would invite the manager in a few moment then she left Leon alone in the room.
Leon didn't wait much for the manager, in a few minutes a middle aged man came
"Lord Magus, sorry for the wait, My name is Adam, I am the manager of the auction house."
"Leon, Then let's get to the business."
Leon showed the items which he was going to sell. The manager was shocked to so much magical devices but he quickly got his composure back, then they made a deal. The deal was nine to Leon one to the auction house and he got a VIP seat in the auction house. But there was still something which Leon need to ask.
"Mr. Adam, do you know how can I find a butler?"
"Yes, I know. Actually there is a butler who wants to find a magus to serve and denied all other offers."
"Denied? Does he wants a body tempering technique?" Leon asked. The only reason for it, would be body tempering technique. But Leon couldn't give to someone so easily, it would bring endless troubles. Only condition for it, would be a soul contract.
"Yeah, you guessed right sir Leon. But I assure you that he is very capable man."
Leon thought I little and "If you the manager of the Loren's Auction House saying so he must be. Then I would like to meet here, is that possible?"
"Yes, Of course I will immediately call him here."
Saying that Adam leaved the auction house to invite the butler.

Soon Adam went to in front of a restaurant and entered inside, he looked around a bit and found whom he was looking for. A blond young man in his early twenties with strict face and he called him. Seeing who was calling him the young mans face soften a bit.
"Uncle Adam, I thought you would be busy with oncoming auction and work overtime."
Adam smiled and "Josh, I was working but a customer came and want to find a butler."
Josh looked a bit to the smiling face of Adam sighed and said
"Uncle Adam, you know I only want to be a butler of a magus. If some rich man, no matter how rich they are I wouldn't do it."
"No, this time a magus, probably he came for the auction of the four of order. He wants to see you."
Josh was shocked and overjoyed, he always wanted to became a butler of a magus but the nobility in Loren Empire have their exclusive butler families to serve them for generations and he didn't have any chance, but right now. The chance has come for him.
"Uncle Adam, I will talk to the boss, wait here I will come back in minute." Josh said hurriedly
"Okay okay I'll wait for you."
