Chapter 63: Acting out the ruler's part

"Is that so?" Camila muttered before shrugging Leo's hand off her shoulder and taking a step back. 

For a moment, she simply stood in place, battling her own thoughts, a process that fully showcased on her face and the various expressions that formed only to then vanish, replaced by another. 

This process didn't last long and before Leo could get enough of the amusing changes in the young duchess's expression, she finally decided to put on a cold, brave front and turn around. 

"Hellen," Camila spoke in a steady voice, looking right in the eyes of the older noble lady who ended up going back with the rest of Camila's group. 

"What is it?" 

Leo looked over at the so-called Hellen, quite curious about what made Camila care for that old woman so much. 

'Is she someone important? A noble with a big house and great wealth?' Leo's face darkened a little. 'If that's so, then it would be better to just…'
