Chapter 3: Trouble Stirs with Wine

Third Pov:

ZiNuo woke up to a pain in the head, he sat up and looked around. How did I get here? He got himself to put his shoes on and then went to grab the teapot to pour a cup of water. He quickly drank it and opened the door and walked out to see the bright sun. As he walked out of the Yin side of the place he could see a figure in white outside drinking tea with one hand and holding a book with the other. "Bai Gongzi, morning," ZiNuo smiled at YuHan. YuHan stared at ZiNuo, with no expression. "You're not going to say good morning to me?" ZiNuo said. YuHan grabbed his sword and looked at ZiNuo.

"I'll be gone for awhile. I'm going into town."

"Oh...Why not bring me along too?"

"You'll be a bother Yin Gongzi." YuHan placed the book he was reading into his gray bag and tightened the bag up. He used magic to seal up the Bai sect's part of the place and looked at ZiNuo one last time before he walked out of the place. Once he was outside he closed the huge front wooden doors and quickly walked down the path where it would lead him to the lands he had never seen.

'At least I won't have to see him for a while.' YuHan thought as he walked down the mountain. All he could hear was birds chirping and the sound of his footsteps on the fresh snow. When he was all the way down the mountain he was met by more trees. He quickly flew himself up and went onto a tree to see where he needed to head to. As soon as he could see a town with a bunch of buildings and houses, He started to head in that direction where his journey would begin.

Once YuHan arrived at the town it was already dark and people were cleaning up their stands. Some were heading home with fresh foods in their hands. People were closing up except for the hotels, restaurants, and medicine shop. When I entered the restaurant I was quickly greeted by one of the workers there. "Hello, Gongzi. How can I help you?" he asked.

"I need a table," YuHan said.

"Follow me Gongzi." YuHan followed the worker to the second floor and he was guided to the right. "Here's your table Gongzi. Call me if you want anything to eat or order," the worker said as he backed away. YuHan placed his sword on the table and got one of the cups.

"Xiao er (waiter)," YuHan called out. The waiter immediately walked to him.

"What can I do for you Gongzi?" he asked.

"I would want some fresh hot green tea," YuHan replied.

"Coming right back," the waiter said and quickly went down the stairs. The waiter came back with a teapot. He was about to pour the tea, but YuHan stopped him.

"I'll take it from here," YuHan said as he took the teapot by the handle. "Before you leave. Can I have three man tuo(steamed buns)?" YuHan said quickly.

"Of course Gongzi," the waiter said and he walked down the stairs again.

YuHan poured some tea for himself and looked around till he saw someone familiar. The person was laughing and talking to girls. They seemed to notice that YuHan was staring at them. "Bai Gongzi, it's you!" he shouted as he waved his hand at him while his other hand was holding onto what seemed to be a bottle of wine. YuHan then realized it was ZiNuo who was waving at him. ZiNuo was also smiling at him. 'Why is he being so friendly with everyone?' YuHan thought. YuHan's thoughts were interrupted by the waiter who returned with the fresh steamed buns.

The waiter placed it on the table, "Please enjoy it," he said. YuHan nodded in return. He continued to drink tea from the cup waiting for the steam buns to cool down a bit.

A few minutes later, YuHan was eating one of his steamed buns. He felt a sudden tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see ZiNuo standing there with a cheeky smile. "Care to share?" ZiNuo asked. YuHan stared at ZiNuo with a cold stare that seemed to be a response to ZiNuo's question. ZiNuo sat down in front of YuHan and looked at him as YuHan eats. ZiNuo grabbed the steamed bun out of YuHan's hand. YuHan looked at him with a death glare. "Just give me one, Bai Gongzi!" YuHan quickly took his steamed bun back and handed ZiNuo another one that hasn't been eaten. ZiNuo quickly took it and placed it into his mouth. After ZiNuo took a few bites, he smiled at YuHan.

After YuHan finished his steamed buns he called the waiter over. "What can I do for you Gongzi?" the waiter asked.

"How much is the tea and steamed buns?" YuHan asked as he took out his white colored mini money bag.

"A few pieces of silver," the waiter replied. YuHan handed the waiter the silver and closed his mini bag. After he paid for his meal, he grabbed his sword, and walked down the stairs out of the restaurant's door.

"Bai Gongzi wait for me!" YuHan looked behind him to see ZiNuo running after him. He quickly flew up on top of the restaurant's rooftop and ZiNuo quickly followed him. "Can't you talk to me? I don't even know your full name, but you know mine."

"It's better if you don't know."

"Why not? Is every Bai sect member like you."

"No."

"Fine, I'll find out myself."

YuHan jumped off the rooftop and landed gracefully on the ground. "We won't see each other till 21 Yin Gongzi," YuHan said.

"Can't you stay with me a bit longer?" ZiNuo said with his eyebrows up. YuHan narrowed his eyes and looked at ZiNuo.

"No," he said as he slowly walked away. ZiNuo followed YuHan till he stopped in front of a forest.

"When are we going to stop? I'm tired!" ZiNuo pouted.

"Who told you to follow me."

"You won't talk to me and I only know you."

"How about those girls you were talking to from the restaurant?"

"Do they really matter?"

YuHan continued to walk into the forest and stop somewhere where he could see the moon shine.

"Are we finally there?" ZiNuo asked as he walked closer to YuHan. YuHan drew out his sword and stopped ZiNuo from getting him anywhere closer to him. "What's that for?"

"Don't come any closer," YuHan said as he stared into ZiNuo's eyes.

"Geez, I won't get any closer to you," ZiNuo said as he backed away.

YuHan put his sword back and sat down on the ground, his back laying on a tree. He closed his eyes trying to sleep.

"Are you not scared of being attacked?" ZiNuo asked. YuHan didn't respond, but rather opened his eyes and stared at ZiNuo. YuHan cast a magic barrier that prevents things from entering or getting close to him. Then he closed his eyes and he could only hear ZiNuo talk and the sound of bushes rustling

"Bai Gongzi, are you awake? It's rising and shining!" Zi Nuo shouted as he knocked on the barrel. ZiNuo touched the barrier with a spell this time and broke the barrier. He walked closer to YuHan and his face was so close to YuHan. YuHan opened his eyes and felt discomfort from the amount of space he had between ZiNuo.

"Don't come near me," YuHan said as he quickly stood up and walked the other way.

"Don't tell me Bai Gongzi is scared of me?" ZiNuo laughed. YuHan turned to the laughing boy.

"Why would I be scared," YuHan said. ZiNuo watches YuHan fly up to the trees.

"Wait for me Bai Gongzi!"
