Chapter 63: Shooting range (part one)

I was jerked out of sleep by a loud sound of a door being banged making me gasp out loud. I clutched my chest like I am experiencing a heart attack and shifted into a sitting position on the bed.

What was that!

Suddenly there was another bang. I yank the comforter off me and leap out of the bed in fright. Frenzies pump faster into my brain sending a sharp signal to my heart making it beat faster against my rib cage.

My stomach twisted in a knot as I climbed back to the comfort of my bed. I pulled my legs to my chest resting my chin on my knees. I rubbed my palms over my skin, feeling so scared.

Where is the banging noise coming from?. I thought fretfully.

Is an intruder in the house?. How is that possible? The alarm would have gone off and the mansion could have been surrounded by cops by now if someone has breached the mansion's security.

So where the hell is the banging coming from?
