Chapter 223: Meeting the Devil

***ALEX'S POV***

I heard the sound of Samuel leaving the room, and very faintly, I heard the sound of the Devil Mask man walking into the room. His steps were so much lighter and more graceful than that of the other man. I didn't know what to think about this. I didn't know if the man was just trained to walk differently, or if there was something else that I needed to fear in this story. I mean, there had been magic, werewolves, and beast people before this, who is to say that there couldn't be more in this story. Hansel and Gretel faced a witch after all, magic was to be expected.
