Halloween
Dear diary, 10-28-1776
Living in a world filled with humans is not easy, especially for me. My family has been in many historical writings since way back then. You may know us as Werewolves, we are creatures who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by day. But that's not how it really is, my family and those in the past generation haven't devoured people or corpses... NOT AT ALL! The only thing we "devour" is animals and fruits also vegetables (I consider them to be very tasty). Tales are not fully accurate and now here I am, dressing up like a vampire, knocking on people's houses asking for candy.
"Trick or Treat!"
Other neighborhood kids smiling all happily while me wondering if Ms. Pete put some Milkyway bars on my bowl.
"How many did you get Sammy?"
Fred always acts politely but I hope he can stop it because I don't want us be like strangers.
"I only got two Milkyway bars... that's depressing"
I sighed. Fred then gave me his only Milkyway bar and smiled while saying
"Here! You can have it, since I know you like it so much." Fred is so kind and polite that it makes me feel guilty for being all pouty.
"Thank you! Gosh Fred, you are too kind for your own good."
"I don't really think so, but thanks"
I hear Nate telling a bunch of kids scary stories about monsters and me and Fred decided to listen as well.
"Did you guys know vampires suck out your blood if you defy them? Also they will kidnap you if you are being naughty..."
The second thing you said is about Santa not about Vampires
"AND! Scary werewolves will hunt you down if you go near the woods."
A little bit true... we don't hunt you down, only scare you enough to never go inside our territory
"Bro Nate, any more stories you can tell us?"
Kids piled him up questions one by one if there are more he can tell but it seems Nate's performance are over. He looks troubled. It's hilarious not gonna lie. Jake pops up to save his best friend Nate, and told the kids to stop pestering him.
"Saved by your prince charming Nate?" I asked with a laugh.
"Shut up glutton!"
"Whatever, go have fun with Jake I'll shoo those kids away"
"Thanks, I owe you one!"
I waved goodbye and directly stared at Fred. "Help me... and I'm gonna lend you the new issue of your favorite author Frederick"
After Fred convinced the kids to go home now since it was getting late, we walked back home and I grabbed my book
"You better return this one cause you haven't returned Book 1 yet!"
"I promise, I will. Good night, see you tomorrow!"
You might think "I thought werewolves live in the woods or forests?" well you're not wrong. My family just has a separate house to live in here and another one in a secret location.
"Hey mom, can I go for a quick run to burn off calories from all the candy I ate?"
"Yeah sure, but be careful not to get caught by the townsfolk"
"I assure you, I will not."
I grabbed my blue coat and put on my favorite purple running shoes. Kissed my mom on the cheek and said "See you later" walking out of the backyard and casually getting near into the woods. Stopped to look at the beautiful starlight in the sky and ran full speed. "Wind blowing and brushing off of my skin is the best feeling in the world." If you are wondering I turned into a wolf? The answer is no. Because I am a pure blood, not a half-blood. There are many privileges being a pure blood, my favorite of it all is turning into a full werewolf by my will, not because the moon is out. But unless it's a full moon then I can't control it.
It's already been 30 mins. since I left off, I should go back now. While on the way I heard a sound beside me, but I just brushed it off since I thought it was only an animal.

Monday. I'm still too tired cause of Halloween but still I have to go to school. I always take midnight running and I heard the sound again.

After running around the woods for 30 mins. I always take the same path going home, and I heard the sound again.

I thought it was weird hearing the same things for 3 days in a row, so I decided to check it out but what I found was a girl my age jumping up and down trying to reach the highest branch but failed to do so. I want to try talking to her but she might wonder why I'm here but wait... isn't she also here??? AGGHH!! I can't talk to her! She might take caution of me.

I saw her again, she still can't reach it. Watching her try her best makes me feel motivated to do anything.

God! I feel like a stalker watching her... I'm such a creep. She's not doing her usual thing, she's reading a book, what it seems to be a Frederick book. The moonlight was bright that day so that must've been why she brought a book with her in the middle of the night. Now I can strike up a conversation with her! I'll try to talk to her tomorrow.

She wasn't there, gladly though since it was a full moon tonight. I ended sleeping below the Willow tree where's she's always staying. I woke up right before the sun was about to come up and rushed to home since someone might see me.

I thought I saw someone yesterday but it was probably nothing since it was too early. Mom scolded me fiercely and banned me from running in the night for 1 week.
"GREAT! Tomorrow's Monday!"
(sarcastically said)
"Well you better sleep early... Goodnight Sam"
"Good night mom"

I arrived at school and greeted my friends. I so wish math is gonna be easy but it will never be. Then a stranger patted me on the back, I look at her and the first thought to my head is THIS IS THE GIRL I'VE BEEN WATCHING FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW! but why is she talking to me?
"Hi. Hello. My name's Lily... Lily Crawford. I'm a new student here and I want to talk to you about something."
