"We are here to rescue you," one of them said.

He kicked the bedpost directly and broke the wooden post. The moment the handcuff was freed from the bedpost, he pulled at Yan Yuling's arm, and said, "Let's go."

Along the way, Yan Yuling saw the bodies lying on the ground. Her horror grew with each step as she took in the situation.

The ground was soaked with blood, and the sticky feeling beneath her feet made her more nauseous and dizzy.

Her face turned pale as she passed a corpse. She took a look and realized that the dead body was the burly man from before. He was lying lifeless on the ground with his eyes wide open.
