Chapter 1: A sign
Arriving home, I was greeted by the darkness. I dropped my bag by the stairs and went into the kitchen to grab a bite when my phone made a sound. Checking it, money had been sended to my account. I sighed and just turned off my phone and resume getting things from the refrigerator to eat. Then my phone started ringing, and the word Nancy showed up. I didn't bother picking it up and watched it play the voicemail.
"Hey...it's me again...I send money to your account as usual...I hope you are doing well...please pick up." beeeeeeep. I ignored the voicemail and just texted thanks to her and nothing more.
Picking up my bag, I went to my room upstairs. It was a very plain room with no decorations but had the usual essentials like a bookcase, a desk, and a bed. But what made me not feel alone was a necklace that was a deep shade of red and had a stone that was shape like a crystal hanging from my neck. It is a very special necklace that I got from someone when I was young. I can't seem to remember who it was but I know the warmth from the hands that comforted me when I was in a crisis.
After a moment of nostalgic feeling, I went to start my homework and study for a quiz tomorrow.
Looking up, I saw that it was midnight qnd needed to go sleep. Packing up everything and changing to my pajamas, I flopped down on to the bed exhausted. I was starting to fall asleep when something woke me up. Turning to my left side, I saw a note hanging from the window. Getting up, I grabbed it and was confused on how on earth did this get here. Reading it, my heart skipped a beat. Inside the note was the same stone as my neckalce and a message saying 'I'm coming luna.'
Only one person gave me that nickname and it was from the same person who gave me this necklace.
