Rena stood by the portal, watching the two hold hands, a bright sky-blue light coming from the two. A golden halo formed over Angel's head, signifying that they were fully linked.

The girl had never actually seen a link happen in front of her, so this was a first for her. The color of their aura was the same, a light tint of blue and white.

"Their energy feels harmonious-is this what Storm meant by linking?" Rena thought as she suddenly felt all her strength leave her body.

The two looked behind them in shock. Timekeeper had impaled Rena, the blade straight through her stomach, the girl barely able to stand.

"RENA!" Storm and Angel both yelled as she began to cough up blood.
