The death of Christopher Clarent involves an ornamental sword thrust in his heart while his body is monumentally displayed at his family's storefront. No one knows who killed him, even Christopher himself as he transmigrates as a zombie in another world. With everything kept in haze, all he remembers is the pain of being impaled.
