Chapter 227: That won't happen

The dinner went smoothly.

The food was delicious and the people of the house were all nice people. They treated him nicely and did their best so that he would have a fun time there. Reyan's mother especially was nice to him. She talked about how she was happy that his foolish son had finally found a friend and then started to tell the past memories where his son always wanted to invite his friend to his house like the other kid, but couldn't do so because he didn't have a friend.

He could see how Reyan's face was changing colors from white to red and even blue from embarrassment and also from suppressing his anger. He wanted to laugh loudly at him but had to control his face as he was currently a very gentle and well-behaved guest of a rich family.

And just like that, he spent a few hours of his night in Reyan's house. After the dinner and everything else was over, it was time to go back. However, the simple act of 'going back home,' wasn't that simple here.
