Since it was night time for the others,and trusting that they wouldn't burst into his room especially since it was locked, Zain thought it was the perfect opportunity. Although it was unlikely that anything would happen, the Wild Bones were in some ways protecting his body if anything crazy did occur.

For all Zain knew, during these 'Episodes' he would have his body completely inactive; he was as good as dead until he would wake up.

When opening his eyes, Zain was surrounded by the strange walls once again. They were familiar to him so he knew it was the inside of the cave, but there was a big difference compared to last time.

For one, he was an adult this time, rather than in the body of a child.
