Chapter 41: Episode 4 - Careless (8)

"Father, isn't that mean Varest is one of them? He's a human?" 

"About that..." The Grand Duke could not say anything. 

"It could be...right?" 

Although his father didn't say anything. Vanessa knows what it means and doesn't believe her father's word. She couldn't accept it. Varest is a good child. He's not a bad person. 

Vanessa tries her best to calm herself down. Her right and left brain is work thinking about all that happened. This conversation made her dizzy and she sat down on the couch. She is not ready to accept reality.

"Hopefully, this is not true." The Grand Duke said. 

"I hope so." 

Varest has been with her for five years. At the mansion, his manner and helpful things have made Vanessa believe. Vanessa felt comfortable with him. Although it is strange because of the reason for keeping it quite funny. She never forgets her plan. 

"My vampire body feels numb. I'm so tired of everything."
