Chapter 104: Lucy III
Tenshi and Mocha returned to the seating area.
Tenshi wasn't exactly sure who would be taking over for Luffy or why Luffy was even fighting in the first place. It was a bit incomprehensible! But!
Tenshi was determined to get this Fruit for himself.
The fight started and Tenshi watched as Lucy was replaced with… Uta?
Uta was standing in the arena, pretending to be Luffy as she laughed, "Shishishi! I'm Lucy and I'll be King of the Gladiators! Rawwr~!" Tenshi's lips twitched, who was she trying to fool?!
This would only fool an idiot, clearly!
Diamante's eyes widened and he shouted angrily, "I am King of the Gladiators! Damnit!" Tenshi gawked at the arena, really feeling like life was only just a funny game. Who was he, why was Diamante so stupid…
Tenshi sighed to himself and stood up saying "That's not Lucy!" the crowd gasped and Uta said "Nonsense!" Tenshi waved his fist and said "That's not Lucy because…" he pointed his thumb at himself, adding "Because I AM LUCY!"
Diamante gasped, "MASAKA!?" Uta was dumbfounded, Boss! How could it be?!
Cavendish and Bartolomeo were speechless!
Tenshi jumped down and said heroically, "My helmet, young lady!" Uta revealed herself and handed the helmet and cape over. Bartolomeo gasped, "Devil Diva Uta?!" Uta shouted angrily "We met, Rooster!"
Tenshi put the helmet and cape on, fluttering it heroically.
Diamante furrowed his brows, "I see. The true Lucy reveals himself!" Tenshi cleared his throat, saying in a deep voice "Yes, it is I! Lucy III! Son of the King of Luce, Lucious Maximus!" Cavendish growled "Can we hurry up?! I'm losing fans!"
Bartolomeo picked his nose, muttering "What fans?" Cavendish glared at him, "I will kill you." Bartolomeo sneered at him, ignoring his words completely.
The fighting started and Tenshi covered his arms in Susanoo armor, "Behold! The Spirit of Lucia!" he punched out, clashing with Diamante's sword.
Cavendish snuck up behind Tenshi but Bartolomeo blocked him and they started fighting.
Tenshi charged forward, swinging his fists and smashing away Diamante's sword before jumping at him, "Lucinia's Judgement!" before punching Diamante in the face, smashing him into the arena.
Tenshi stood on his back and raised his fist, "Behold! My victory!" The crowd didn't care who was fighting, they cheered regardless.
Tenshi waved his hands as Diamante got up, slashing with his sword quickly. Tenshi jumped back and dodged the sword swings, bending backwards before snapping back up as his arms blazed with flames, shooting his fists at Diamante, nailing him dozens of times in a second, sending him spiraling into the walls of the fighting arena.
Tenshi back flipped as a giant Fish flew by him, chopping its jaws at him. Tenshi flew away and looked at the fish sarcastically.
This Fighting Fish was trying to jump the food chain!
There are consequences for this!
Tenshi exploded with flames and slammed his hands forward, drowning the Fighting Fish in a pillar of magma-like coffee.
The Fighting Fish fell to the arena and a good smell started spreading.
Tenshi tossed the fish into the audience, this one didn't have the box.
Mocha caught the fish with a glint in her eyes, taking a bite directly. She squinted happily and said "Yummy!" Uta's lips twitched as she said "You have a serious problem." Mocha gave her a side-eye, "Who are you again?" Uta exploded angrily "I AM THE WORLD FAMOUS DIVA!"
Meanwhile
Tenshi stood by the edge of the arena, looking at the life signs in the water. He threw out a coffee slime rope and fished out fighting fish one after the other.
Where did that fish even go? Was he scared?
Tenshi didn't know, it seems to have vanished.
Then, suddenly!
Diamante came out of the water on the fighting fish's back, waving his sword like some sort of Fish General!
Tenshi was speechless, what sort of nonsense was this?!
Diamante laughed, "You all lose! I remain King of the Gladiators! Hahah-" a coffee rope pulled the box right out of his hands as he froze his laughter.
Tenshi opened the box and looked at the milky white fruit that was shaped like a bottle with swirls. He took a bite and swallowed.
Tenshi let out a breath of air and tossed the box to the side, throwing the fruit behind him into the water. He pressed his hands out and a torrent of milk surged around his arms before turning a light brown and bubbling.
Tenshi was surprised before curling his lips and flying up. He raised his hands over his hand before slamming down as a giant magma textured light brown substance smashed directly into the middle of the arena, blasting a huge hole out!
He hovered in the air, gently flapping his wings as he chuckled, "Cool!" Tenshi took out his sword and spun it into his spear as the dark brown turned to light brown then white then dark brown again.
He played around with it for a bit before waving his spear, a massive torrent surging from his body washing away Diamante, spitting him out, shooting him flying across Dressrosa, smashing into the cliff on Flower Hill.
Tenshi found out that basically nothing changed except that he could become coffee now. In addition, his coffee could heal people. Before it could only make them excited but now, they would be healed and get a temporary buff.
Everything else was the same, although he was at a loss how to use these powers. It was basically water, right? The only difference was he could make it hotter and colder, even breaking the rules and making it much hotter or colder than it should be.
Though this was fine, Tenshi didn't really mind… He didn't normally fight away, controlling water and being able to fist fight, spearmanship, etc… It was all the same to him.
Tenshi didn't really have anything else to do in the Colosseum and directly flew away, scooping up Mocha and Uta as he left.
