"Hi. I'll take you home." I looked behind me and saw Zairon still standing there, just watching us and then looking away.
"To our house, Zaiden," I quickly said when I turned back to him.
He smiled and gave a thumbs up. He opened the shotgun seat for me, and I got in.
"Are you mad about what happened?" he asked as the car started moving.
I pouted. "I'm just upset. He got my studies involved in his anger. Now I can't graduate."
I saw his forehead wrinkle. "Why? Is there something wrong with your OJT?"
"I didn't finish my OJT. I might have to extend it if that's the case. I don't know yet; I haven't talked to our instructor about it," I replied, clearly worried.
"I think Zairon can make it possible though, and I know he already arranged it."
"What do you mean, 'arranged'?"
"You seem to forget that your boyfriend is a CEO, Laurene. He can just pass your OJT, and it's probably only a week that you missed, right?"
