Chapter 10: Operation human file
An empty room with a big bed and a long window, that was the place where the master of lazuli slept, it had a cold yet comfortable vibe
'are you sure about this'?
Khalid asked lapiz who was siting in the bed
'yes I am'
She took a deep breath and begin her story, Sebastian and Khalid stood while lily was next to lapiz holding her hand
'operation human file '
She started
'it was an operation started by lee yein, a excellent scientist in my past life, the operation was tested on childrens from the orphanage'
'the motive of the operation was to make humans as intelligent as a robots, a scientific machine which was invented by humans'
'it was a great idea to test it on the children's of the orphanage as we did not have anyone important to us'
'the scientist lee yein adopted 150 childrens from 30 orphanages and of them was me and my best friend shin yuna'
'at that time I was 8 so was she, we had just lost our dear nanny who toke care of us from the moment we were born, she was like a mother for us, after she passed away me and yuna were alone without anyone taking care of us, after 3 months the directed of the orphanage came to us and told that we were adopted'
'not just us but the whole orphanage, at that time I was stupid however I thought that I could escape the dirty orphanage if I did as told'
'we were taken to a facility and was given a white gown to wear, we stayed in the big room that fitted 150 childrens we all were given food three times a day and also a bed to sleep'
'that lasted for 5 days until the staff started taking 50 children's out, it was weird after they go outside only half of them returned and all of those who returned were burn out as if something tried to kill them'
'just as days passed mine and yunas time came we were taken to another room with the other 58 children, each of us got a card with a number mine was 14 while yuna's was 15'
'We were supposed to enter the room with a group of 5 there was a screen which showed which number was allowed to enter the room and at last 11-15 showed which included me and yuna'
'We walked through the door and saw a machine in there'
Khalid flinched he could see lapiz trembling when she mentioned the machine he sat next to her and allowed her to continue
'what kind of machine was it'
'it was designed like a chair that had a small device which looked like a headphone'
All three of them tilted thinking wht a headphone is
'a headphone is a device which can be weared around our ear it help us to hear sounds that comes from a phone another device created by humans' which helped us to hear music play games and also watch videos'

Khalid thought to himself
'the number 11 went first, she sat on the machine and put on the headphone some kind of wires were attached to her body and head she was asked to close her eyes, we could see the scientist on the other room which had windows in it'
He started the machine using the computer a bigger version of phone and started importing data or knowledge into her brain something that is impossible we could see our friend screaming in pain there were some kind of electricity around her all the staff toke a step back, and us... '
'we watched her suffer from it while trembling it lasted for 6 minutes and when it was done we could see her dead on the machine fully burned it was at that time I realized what happened to the other childrens the ones that died were taken and dumped in a mountain while the one lived were marked as chosen'
Lily had a face of disgust while Khalid gritted his teeth in anger Sebastian clenched his hand with anger, lapiz looked down and remembered wht she went through again
' y-you can stop here if you want'
He said to her
'no I already said that I would tell you who I was in my last life'
She drank water and cleared her throat
'the next 3 also died in the machine me and yuna hugged each other with fear, Lee yein came outside if the room and sighed'
'another failure, he said that in a disappointed voice not caring about the children's he killed, the next one was me who was glaring at him with anger hugging yuna hardly while trembling so much, he came near me and lifted my head'
'nice I like your face, don't be useless and work alright kid'?
'he left to the room after saying that w staff grabbed my hand and started forcing me to the machine yuna cried telling me not to go but it didn't work I soon sat there waiting for my death'
Tears were ready to come out of lily's eyes she holder lapizs hand and started praying
'dont worry lily I passed through the test'
'i wore the headphone and closed my eyes, I could see yuna screaming to let me go while crying she was holder back by a staff, the machine was activated and the knowledge transfer started, he only sent small number of knowledge at first after that more and more started flowing started coming all of it entered my brain I was screaming soo much blood started coming through my eyes the pain was to much for me to resist'
'after 10 minutes the test was over I was almost close to fainting, for some reason lee ye in came outside and said'
