When leaving the restaurant, the sky outside had already darkened.
Adam looked up and saw the busy street he had seen earlier, now filled with people's silhouettes.
People were walking all around, some with hurried expressions and rushed steps, while others were casually strolling.
Occasionally, he could see couples hand in hand, showing sweet affection.
Adam quietly watched the scene and fell silent.
Though the outside world bustled and thrived, he felt like an outsider, standing alone, out of place in the surrounding world.
He stood still for a moment and noticed a few girls looking at him all by himself, gathering the courage to approach and talk to him.
Unfortunately, Adam had no phone and couldn't understand their language, so he could only smile and shake his head, politely declining.
As time passed, the crowds around thinned, and fewer people were left.
Looking up, he saw the sky filled with twinkling stars and the silver moon hanging high.
