Asterias looked at where Lumielle had run away as he looked at Cosette. "Lady Cosette," he said slight annoyance glazing at his words as she blinked innocently. "Excuse me, I'm going to get ready, would you mind giving me some moments alone?" He asked. There was a smile on his face but he wasn't being truthful. Perhaps, Jenoix had been right. The two were far more similar than Asterias wished to admit. That left a bitter taste on his tongue.

"OH!" Cosette said gasping and giggling, "Of course! I just wanted to give you this," she said, "I also gave Allard one!" She hummed presenting an ornamental gem. It was a brooch made of a beautiful gem. The De Saude duchy controlled one of the biggest mines in Endora. Thus, they were known to have a monopoly on all the jewels.

It was beautiful. The craftsmanship screamed class as her onyx eyes glistened with pride. Asterias glanced down at the tassel by his side.

"Thank you, Lady Cosette," he said placing a hand on his chest.
