Chapter 1: Act 1 - Calling

All that could be heard was a deafening silence and the occasional piece of trash rolling across the concrete floor. Despite it being night time, the city was riddled with an overwhelming amount of lights and neon signs that drowned out the darkness. Buildings stand tall, blocking any real view of the distance. Through these barren streets walked a boy named Sora. Lost. Confused.

"I've been walking for a while now... and there's nobody here..." Sora mumbled to himself. Sora began calling out, trying to beckon someone to come out and show themselves. But nobody came. Sora sat down on the sidewalk and sighed. "Who was that guy? Why did attack me? Arrgh! None of this makes any sense!" Sora yelled in frustration. "Yozora... does he know me?" An endless amount of questions plagued Sora's mind, but over the journey's he's had since he first took hold of the Keyblade, being riddled with questions wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

"I'm just glad Kairi's okay... I'm sure her and Riku are just fine." That's all Sora could take solace in. "Is this... the end?" Sora questioned.

"No, no it's not." A voice replied. Sora looked up in surprise and turned around to see a tall figure glaring down at him. Sora jerked back and readied his Keyblade.

"Exactly the reaction that I expected" The figure chuckled. The figure was tall and wore a long red cape that covered a black jacket. He wore black baggy shorts and yellow shoes. He had long brown hair and blue eyes.

"Who are you!? Where is everyone!?" Sora asked, ready for anything. The figure approached him and gripped his Keyblade by the blade as it dematerialised. Sora looked in shock.

"I am not your enemy, that's all I can tell you. As for the state of this city, I couldn't tell you. It wasn't like this where I came from. In my universe, this place was full of noise." The figure explained. "Ah but, you wouldn't understand what I'm saying, would you? I apologise."

"Your Universe? Noise?" Sora grew more suspicious of the man over time.

"To put it simply, I'm not from this universe, I exist in one parallel to this one. I've spent a long time trying to get here, and just recently, I was finally able to perform what was said to be impossible, Universe Hopping. You see, Sora, do you understand what it means when something or someone is parallel to another?" The man asked.

Sora remained silent. He figured asking questions would just be a waste of his breath at this point.

"It can refer to the similarities and correspondence between two things. What I mean is that your universe and my own are linked and share many similarities. Including places and people. However, things in my universe unravelled differently that here. In my universe, my best friends, Riku and Kairi no longer remain..." The man stated.

"Y-Your best friends? Wai- Riku and Kairi!? Gone!?" Sora scrambled in panic. The figure turned around and kindly smiled at Sora.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sora. It may be hard to accept, but I'm the Sora of my own universe. I was the one who brought down the Real Organisation XIII. The one who defeated it's leader in battle, all alone. The one who went of to rule over the light, decimating any form of darkness that sprouted up."

Sora was left in awe. The tall man before him was a parallel version of himself. "Y-You're a king in your universe?" Sora asked in shock, somewhat impressed.

"Indeed. After I defeated their leader I was left with one choice. To prevent another incident like this again, I would create a utopia when any form of darkness cannot exist, even if it means robbing people of their freedom-" King Sora was interrupted.

"Robbing people of their freedom!? You can't be serious!" Sora yelled. "By doing that, you're no better than-"

"I am protecting people! I am saving the universe! I gained the power to change EVERYTHING!" King Sora yelled in anger. He took a few seconds and sighed, taking a breather. "But even so, I wasn't happy with the outcome. I have nobody. Kairi... Riku... Donald... Goofy... All of them gone. That's why I came here..." He continued.

"What do you mean?" Sora asked. King Sora turned around and flipped his cape as a blinding light filled Sora's vision. "Gah!"

The light filling Sora's eyes began to fade. Sora looked around in amazement as his eyes adjusted again. As far as the eye could see, there was an unimaginable amount of stars gleaming in the infinite darkness. Sora and his counterpart stood on a stone platform floating through space inside of a dome that allowed them to breathe.

"Where are we?" Sora asked, still looking around to take in what he was seeing. His counterpart let down his cape and turn away from Sora to stare at the stars.

"We're at the Meeting Place. This place is where every universe meets at a single point. Those strong enough can make their way here. In my universe, I was the first person to achieve this." King Sora claimed.

"What do you want from me? I have enough on my plate right now. First I saved Kairi, then I had to fight some guy called Yozora and now I'm dragging myself around!" Sora yelled. King Sora stood there and simply chuckled.

"I want you to understand. I want you to see my story." His counterpart smiled. He turned away and raised his hands. As he waved his hands around a large screen appeared in the air.

"Maybe then you'll help me..."
