[Volume Two: Birthright]
.........
Valerian paced around in his room as he kept thinking back to the parchment he had received from the Blackdell Household. It had been a few hours since he returned from the Black Rose Academy.
He hadn't even settled in when he received the bombshell Thesues dropped on him.
'Hahahahahahaha..... They must really think I'm a pushover. My family's legacy, my birthright.... Pawned away in a common duel like it's some prize in a tournament.'
A cold smile crept into his face as his rage grew with each passing second. His angry expression became as cold as ice and anyone who saw him in this instant would have shivers running down their spine.
Walking out of his room calmly, he found Thesues standing outside with a worried gaze on his face.
"Are you alright sire."
"I'm fine Thesues, please explain the situation clearly to me."
