Synopsis
In the ‘90s era, Adrian Cowell was just a rich young man living it up in Los Angeles who had spent years in indulgence and often caused trouble. Unable to allow his behavior to continue, his parents changed their will before their passing and he was no longer able to live as extravagantly as he did before. However, Adrian's fate took a turn one night while trying to fix his bedside lamp which led to Zhang Haoxuan, a man from the future who had time-traveled after being intoxicated, to possess his body.
Assuming his new identity as ‘Adrian’, he utilizes his absurd memory for films in his former life as Zhang Haoxuan, as well as Adrian’s wealth and connections, to replicate films that have been produced in the future — determined to dominate the Hollywood scene.

5 Stars. Just wanted to promote more of Showbiz novels with male leads. There are very few Showbiz and Sports novels. Hope more of Showbiz and Sports novels get translated.
First flag: Identity crises - He accepts himself as adrian then he dosent. Second flag: Asshole - He's being a real ***** about everything. Third flag: Eighth grade syndrome- Thinks he's the child of god. This will be my que to leave. Tho I'd give it a try if your bored. Never know, you might just like it.

There are a whole bunch of flaws in this novel in the historical context, which includes the Gulf War, the 1992 presidential elections which completely glossed over the primaries, Jurassic Park -- the novel was already bought by Spielberg before it was even published. Also, Adrian sometimes like to give speeches to everyone which makes it very cringey. All in all a good novel if you just don't think about it too much, sice this is a wish fulfillment novel after all.

I really enjoy this book. It is so well done that it wants me to come b ack for more and more. I just can't stop reading this that is how good this book is.

This novel starts a little shakey and the moral character of the MC seems questionable, but as it progresses those elements become less prominent. The novel is a pretty decent surface level look at a reborn MC exploiting his knowledge to become wealthy and powerful in Hollywood,. Its not super deep, but if you like American films and don't mind the occasional historical inaccuracy for the sake of the plot there's plenty to enjoy here.
Our Mc transmigrated into the body of a film producer in the 90's. Naturally he knows what movies will be a hit. That very first chapter caused me to dislike the MC, that being said the plot moves along fairly quickly. This just was not for me, but give it a try and see.

I've read quite a few novels like this, and this novel is a somewhat semi-wish fulfillment novel. Although this novel is not enough to compare to the entertainment novels I've read, the best thing about this is that it still looks realistic. The only thing I don't like is the current era, it would be better if it was set in the financial crisis year. This made the mc not only control Hollywood but also other things. Additionally, the stock market which earned them 800 million in an instant is too fake, but fine

After reading this comments I thought it will atleast be ok but no. Mc is blinded by a girl he even forgot that he is a director, he is a recently growing director but he wants to waste his energy on chasing a girl. This is the reason why I hate Romance it may be good in real life but when writing romance author's just write cringe in the name of romance...... He is a director and the first fl I mean chaterine is just a new debuting actress but she just goes against director again and again and also mc always forgives her and he will also apologize her f*ck this sh*t just because he liked her he lowers himself. I can't even think a scenario where a director Apologizes to a new debuting actress who even questioned his words.
