Antonio Woods held his cellphone, desperately trying to explain, but the calls coming in reprimanding him came one after another like a sudden downpour without a hint of stopping.

Work halted at the construction site, the company was trashed, projects were terminated. To make matters worse, calls came in from various suppliers, all demanding early payment and then termination of cooperation.
