Chapter 72: Mid-semester test

The layout of each of the 10 testing grounds was simple and identical. The testing was 100 meters in length and consisted of 4 things.

The first being a portal used to teleport the victors out of the testing area as it would be blocked off by a barrier.

The second was 2 identical keys used in activating the portal. They were located at the 50-meter mark of the East and West parts of the training ground.

The third were two obstacle courses by the left and right that consisted of trees, magical traps, quicksand, and other obstacles.

The final part of the testing area was a straight-paved road that led directly to the portal and also branched to the East and west, leading to the keys.

Now, this would make one wonder what was difficult about the test if one could just walk directly to the portal. Well, that was because a Primal beast would be placed at the other end of the straight road.
