The barrier of the commoner exploded, releasing a powerful shockwave that swayed the fire back.

The commoner student jumped out from the left and began running around the arena, looking for an opportunity to strike. While he ran Damien Flameheart snorted disdainfully as he shoved his hands deep into his pocket.

He quickly turned to the right and threw his palm forward as a torrent of fire rolled forward. However, the commoner student halted his advance and abruptly changed direction the moment Damien had attacked.

The next moment he was charging directly at Damien while the heat of Damien's flames brushed past his skin as he charged forward.

"Fortress!" The commoner student screamed as he jumped forward and a spherical barrier lit up around him.

His body sped forward like a cannonball, charging forward with deadly precision. Strangely, Damien showed no intention of moving from that spot.
