Inside a dark room lit with a mere lamp, a certain brunette stared at his home for a while, before heaving a sigh and placing the mobile on the side table.

Cauis gripped the bed sheet and brought it to his nose. It still had her scent: clean and refreshing.

As he sat on the side of the bed, he couldn't help but feel melancholic. He could still remember their moments there just a day prior. The sex, the cuddles, and the heart-to-heart talks…

He thought he found his soulmate.

Maybe he did, but it seemed it wasn't the same to her.

He looked at the 19 missed calls he sent to her the past few hours.

"Where are you?" He asked out loud, looking at the phone screen with her photo on it. "What are you doing?"

He couldn't help but recall her casual attitude towards him, and a dark hypothesis began forming but he just refused to acknowledge it.

He called again, hoping she was just busy... studying or something.
