Sota wiped sweat from his brow, his mind already turning with the next set of plays. Kaminari and Ouji had been relentless, burning through energy like wildfire with each sprint across the field. They needed a break. Fatigue was creeping in, and Sota knew better than anyone that the second half would be where the real battle was fought.

"Take a breather," Sota called to them, gesturing for Kaminari and Ouji to step off the field.

Kaminari frowned, clearly eager to stay in the action, but Ouji, panting heavily, nodded in agreement. "Da, rest is good," Ouji muttered in his broken Japanese, collapsing on the sidelines with a grin. Kaminari reluctantly followed, but Sota knew it was the right call. They would need their wide receivers at full strength soon.

For now, it was up to him and Koenji. Lean, sharp, and quick-thinking, Koenji was a reliable player, even if he lacked Kaminari's explosive power. Together, they could keep the momentum going.
