Chapter 30: Chapter 29 The Temptation of Home

Fear is divided into four stages, each one presenting a different scene.

In the first stage, where Gao Ming had previously been, the scene seen is not much different from reality. The deeper one falls into fear, the more absurd and terrifying the scenes become.

In order to rescue the rest of the investigation team, Gao Ming actively embraced fear and finally came to the depths of the Shadow World, where he saw the scenes his teammates did.

Deformed parents merged together into a horrific Monster, Gao Ming didn't know whether this was imagined by the child from apartment 405, or if it was fabricated by the investigators under some psychological suggestion.

As the game designer, he could be certain that there were no real ghosts in horror games of prognostic level, and this terrifying Monster in front of him was very likely the embodiment of fear itself.
