Chapter 118: She Left

Ryan woke up an hour later. The first thing he did was to look around the room. He knew what exactly happened the night before. He wanted to wake up and see her first thing that day. But she wasn't there when he opened his eyes. 

He lazily sat down on the bed. 

"Rhea," he called out her name in the hope of seeing her. For some reason, the tranquillity of that room scared him. It was an ominous feeling. He looked around the room once. 

"Rhea!" this time his voice came out louder. For some desperate, it sounded more desperate. 

Ryan was quick to get off the bed. At that moment, his phone which was placed on his table gell in his sight. Ryan paused as if he was dumbstruck. With a frown, he walked to the table. He checked the messages first. All of them were unread. Still, he knew how much she would have read from the notifications. Moreover, when he checked the call list, his suspicion became the truth. She must have received that call from Neon.
