Chapter 23: Cloak
Fukashi raced back over to Maki, he briefly noticed Megumi was still slumped over but was breathing. His eyes went back to the burned form of Maki.
He could barely see her under the ash covering her skin and hair so carefully he lifted her injured form into his arms, he could hear the crashes and creaking as buildings fell and collapsed.
He turned his head in the direction of the sounds only to see buildings being thrown through the air.
He quickly walked over to Megumi's still form and awkwardly pulled the boy onto his shoulder while carrying Maki with the other arm.
The Uchiha left the station, he didn't know where he was going but anywhere was better than Shibuya. He remembered something Akira said earlier in the night, just after they got back to their posts.
The principal set up a medical station for any emergencies, if only he remembered where the thing was.
He stumbled around the station doing his best to avoid the fighting between the thing in Itadoris body and the Shikigami.
He eventually spotted a cursed corpse hiding in a tree, "Yo-your the principal's technique right?" He asked, he honestly couldn't tell if it was a curse of a cursed corpse like Panda.
He felt tired, his body just wanted to collapse.
It nodded its abnormally large head and pointed towards a building not far from him. Fukashi nodded and gave it a strained awkward smile as he hurried past it.
His tattered school hoodie blew in the wind as he kicked the shabby door twice in lieu of a knock. The door was opened quickly with the principal Yaga and Shoko standing on the other side.
They both had guards up, Shoko had a scalpel in hand whereas Principal Yaga had cursed energy surrounding his clenched fists. Those guards instantly dropped when Shoko spotted the state of the three of them.
He was rushed inside with Maki carefully placed down on a metal bed and Megumi awkwardly lifted from his shoulders by the principal.
Shoko instantly got started on Maki, he watched with his whirling Sharingan as her hands exuded positive energy. His eyes widened as he watched the energy pouring out of her hands and settling inside of Maki and started to heal her.
He shook his head and turned to the principal and noticed the man was looking over Megumi. "Principal Yaga" the man turned his head to him and nodded "You seen Akira?" He asked.
The principal shook his head "Not yet" he seemed worried himself. Fukashis nodded with pursed lips, he looked down to his tattered remains of a school uniform and took it off.
Revealing the loose black T-shirt underneath. He then asked the principal another question "You got any spares?" He held up the tattered school uniform in his arms.
The principal raised his eyebrow "This building isn't ours" he looked around the large building "We are just using it for now" he pointed through a corridor "should be a lost and found down there if I'm remembering correctly"
Fukashi nodded, walked down the corridor and after walking into random rooms about 4 times eventually he found a room with dozens of random things.
After digging through purses, dinosaur toys and giant coats he eventually found something that fit. It was a plain black high collared cloak that went down to his knees.
He put it on, and in a burst of speed disappeared from the office. Shoko met the principal's eyes with a worried look in her eyes.

Fukashi ran through the Shibuya station, he needed to find Akira. His black cloak blew in the wind as he easily traversed the narrow alleys and large empty streets.
He had to avoid a piece of concrete falling onto him as he passed, this place was damaged badly. The sounds of fighting he heard earlier were gone, he could only hear silence and his fast footsteps.
He stopped and felt something was wrong he slowly turned around, a sword? A sword with a hand as a handle. Fukashis eyes narrowed as he turned his head back and forth looking for the owner.
He turned back to the sword and it was gone, he heard scuffling from above him. "THIS IS MY PURPOSE!" A loud screeching voice screamed as a blonde man tried to jump on top of Fukashi.
The odd sword was in his hand and primed to skewer Fukashi if he didn't move. The man had 2 marks under his left eye that radiated with cursed energy.
Fukashi stepped back and watched as the man missed and tried to skewer him again with the sword. Fukashi quickly pulled his kunai from the cloak and with a simple swipe planned to slit the curse users throat.
That was the plan but Fukashi tripped over nothing leading the swipe to only graze the man's chest. Fukashi regained his balance quickly and looked down at the floor "What the fuck?"
He tripped over nothing, guess he's more tired than he thought.
The blonde man was laughing and spouting off about luck or something. Fukashi just spun the kunai around his finger and released it towards the curse user who also suddenly tripped over nothing. And led to the kunai grazing his shoulder instead of piercing his heart.
Fukashi groaned, he did notice the purple marks had now disappeared from under the man's eye. The odd sword came swinging towards him, Fukashi sighed again.
This guy was slow, Fukashi almost yawned as he caught the blade and shattered it in his clenched fist. He noticed the blonde's eyes widen but before he could react Fukashi had already put his lightning-covered fist through the curse users face.

Fukashis eyes widened in shock as he came across a portion of the city that was completely flattened. "What the fuck?" He heard a sudden bang to his left.
Quickly he looked to his left and saw a girl he remembered from the exchange event. "You've got a sniper?" His voice was incredulous.
The girl looked over at him with her own incredulous look of her own. "Why are you still here?" Mai asked, "Get over there and help them!" She shouted.
Fukashis eyebrows raised in confusion "Huh?" Mai pointed towards the centre of the flattened part of the city towards a group of people.
He activated his sharingan and noticed an extreme amount of cursed energy, he focused more and saw his classmates and a couple unfamiliar sorcerers all gathered.
In a burst of speed he disappeared from Mais vision.
