Synopsis

Having reincarnated as a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi, yet being rather poor at cultivation, Patriarch Bodhi actually had him take Sun Wukong under his wing?
In order to change Sun Wukong's fate, Wang Yang had no choice but to make Sun Wukong settle down a bit, and afterwards, the style of Journey to the West changed.
East Sea Dragon King: "Jade Emperor, how can I give him the treasure and Jingu Bang if this monkey doesn't come to the Eastern Sea? I really have no other way."
Taibai Jinxing: "Jade Emperor, I tried to make him the Great Sage Equalling Heaven, but he flatly refused, even saying he have no other hobbies and that raising horses suits him!"
Tathagata: "How can I seal Sun Wukong if he doesn't make a scene? And after causing a ruckus, he even seals himself?"
The powers that be who arranged Journey to the West were all stunned...

Read til chapter 40. In short, the MC transmigrated into Journey to the West world with a system that has the function of rewarding the mc everytime he changes the fate of an important character. There are other functions like "return a thousandfold" but with extra steps. To change the fate of Sun Wukong (SW) he tries to insert Han Jue's (TTP) beliefs into SW so his personality would be the opposite of the original SW.

Having read about 30 chapters I can safely say this gives me more lighthearted vibes of 'The Spiritual Attainments of Ming He'. Seems to be set in a 'Pure Lands' setting kinda like pre-Earth but all mythological like, it follows the same trend of Hongjun becoming the first Sage/Saint, trying to unite/eat? the Heavenly Dao and becoming the Honorable Ancestor then taking the Three Pure Ones, Nuwa and the two Sages of the West Zhunti and Jieyin as disciples who all become Sages/Saints thanks to the Hongmen Qi as the Trend of the Heavens dictate. The title pretty much describes what I've read so far, the Mc has a system that allows him to profit from changing the fate of the Main Characters of destiny which starts with Son Wukong just prior to the Journey to the West. Interested in where this will go later and definitely recommend it if you like this sort of thing. The translation is a bit shaky though, not horrible but there is some confusion in the cultivation levels early on, like Human Immortal being interchanged with Earth Immortal at one point or Heavenly Immortal being replaced by Celestial Immortal but not sure if that is an actual mistranslation or not. I did drop the TL Quality to 4 stars because of this so it's not a perfect 5 Stars, may change it later depending on how it goes.
