Chapter 227: Swapping Carriages

As the morning arrived, Xiang Ling and her husbands had their breakfast after packing up and getting ready. Finishing their breakfast, they climbed into the carriage and departed from the Inn for the city gate.

Coincidentally, the Crown Prince's group arrived at the City gate almost at the same time as Xiang Ling's group. While Xiang Ling's group consisted of only four people, Crown Prince's group had nearly a hundred people in it.

"This is going to attract a lot of unnecessary attention." Xin Cheng commented as his gaze surveyed the army of Imperial guards that was following the Crown Prince.

Xiang Ling totally agreed with the Demon Emperor's words and could see the problems they might be facing because of the Crown Prince's calvary that would leave no doubt in the minds of the onlookers that a royal was sitting inside the carriage. However, neither she nor her husbands were in a position where they could provide the Crown Prince with their advice.
