Chapter 9: The tournament part 1
The first round was in a locked room without a crowd, that's because the qualifying round was not that important for the powerful clan, because they didn't place the common people in their eyes.
GIL POV
i wore a mask,the mask was a half golden half blue,i wore it because i want to surprise everybody that know me.
but most importantly it was for Sophia so i can surprise her,thanks god that she didn't find any lover and she isn't engaged to anybody.
and from what i heard that she is waiting for someone,and his name is Gil.
"i truly love you Sophia"i mumble to my self
the first round was starting the first match was between a lvl 12 swordman art with a lvl 10 fire magician.
the fight begun with a boom sound is the fire magician shot some fire ball and if you think that is the fire ball was normal you are mistaking like everyone in this room because i definitely felt a powerful energy with that fire ball.

the lvl 12 man didn't place the fire in his eyes and that's was a big mistake is that attack ended the match quickly.
all the other participants was in shock is they didn't even expected the lvl 10 magician to put a good fight,but not only he put a good he even won the match.
the rest of the matches was all boring to me

begin!!"as he said that i immediately moved to my opponent with a very fast speed that lose only to the light's speed.

Judge didn't say anything until,i said
"is this count is my victory senior judge"i didn't know his name so i called him that.
Judge"yes of course it counts junior"then he continued.
"the winner of this match is Charles Lennox"i chooes to put my master name instead of my real name because i didn't want to do an idiot mistake and reveal my identity.
then we took a small break and the tournament continued
as the semi-final started with a quick round, as that round didn't take a single minute.
because the fire magician didn't want to show me more of his tricks he just used the same skil he used against the lvl 12 man.
Judge"the fight is over and tge winner is Tina Kim"i was surprised is i didn't know that he was a she(i did know that idiot Gil)i heard master says that but i ignored that as he was a d*** to me all the time when a trained under him.
Judge"Charles Lennox and Kim Song come to the stage"i lick my lips is i moved to the arena,
while the other guy was shaking,as i smiled at him.
Judge"the fight starts NOW!!"
just like my first fight i ended very quickly and apparently by doing that i breakdown the record of the fastest win in the tournament.
(i need to report this boy to my master he is to strong for a lvl 10 i believe he is hidden his real power)the judge was thinking about this while looking at Gil with a puzzled face is why he hid his power if he reviled it he most likely will join a powerful clan.
after 2 hours we were called to another place apparently the final will take place in a different location.
we moved to a small abandoned village.
"here you will fight the final, before we start i need to say that both of you are talented young boys and even if you lose you are confirmed a place in one of the big clans
understand that"said the judge is he was afraid that we will not join them but join a evil clan.
both of us nodding our head as we didn't want to be killed because if we said that we will not join them is like saying that we will join a evil clan.
Judge"good now let's move on to the important bit,are you both ready"he said is a quick nod my head as i was kind exciting fot this fight as why that's because he is like me hidden his power so let see what he got.

NOW!!!"he tossed a fire ball,did he thinks I'm the same as his previous opportunities (no idiot Gil he did that to get your attention of him to fire something else more powerful so be worry he is not like the other bug)as always my master didn't place him in his eyes,just like Charles said after i cut his fire ball in two piece he shoot some powerful attack that even lvl 1 expert couldn't defend the attack,i just smirked at the attack and used the skil that master taught.

"master i want a movement skil so i can get behind my opponents and end the fight fast"Gil said to Charles with a hopfull eyes.
Charles"there is one but that one is hard and I'm not sure that you will able to learnt"i didn't want to give him this skill as it was a very powerful one and one of my trump card.
Gil"please master i beg you"he again did the puppy eyes so that i accept.
i sigh and said"okay but i forbid you to say anything related to this skill to anybody even your family or your little girlfriend,understand that okay Gil"i didn't want the skill to be out for the people this how much i value this skill.
Charles"the name of the skill is steps of the light"as i said that Gil was in full focus mode.

everybody was shock at the speed he showed.
(in 1 and a half year he just able to use 10% of the might of the skill i wonder if this people sight the full power one what will they say)Charles was thinking in his mind.
Judge"......the fight is over and the winner of the first round in the talent tournament is Charles Lennox!!!!!"

you see the other day i was playing football with my friend and someone tossed me in the ground and i was extremely hurt
when I returned home i found that my knee is hurting me so much
