Chapter 3:  Chapter 3: Martial Soul Evolution

Meng Bei finally met Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong in the evening.

Zhu Zhuqing was cold and aloof. She had been training outside all day and only returned at dusk. After a brief introduction to Meng Bei, she retired to her room.

It was clear she was extremely hardworking.

Additionally, one particular detail stood out to Meng Bei—her "assets" were significantly larger than Xiao Wu's.

Ning Rongrong, on the other hand, was the complete opposite.

She had been out playing until late. When she learned about Meng Bei's talent, she showed mild surprise, but nothing more.

Meng Bei suspected she had grown desensitized to talent after being surrounded by Shrek Academy's geniuses for so long.

Regardless, Meng Bei had successfully integrated into Shrek Academy's group. How he fared in the future would depend on his own abilities.

The next day's plans had already been arranged by the Grandmaster, and the group retired early to conserve their energy for Meng Bei's upcoming third spirit ring hunt.

---

Meng Bei returned to his personal dormitory—a slightly old wooden cabin.

Excited, he retrieved the Martial Soul Evolution Potion from his system storage.

He had been holding back all day, knowing that the evolution process might create a disturbance. Now that the area was quiet and Tang San's dorm was far away, it was finally time to use the potion.

Under the moonlight, Meng Bei examined the potion carefully.

It was a vial of crimson liquid that looked like blood. Just staring at it made him feel a faint pressure in his bloodline.

Without hesitation, Meng Bei opened the vial and drank it all, licking it clean to ensure no effects were wasted.

---

"Nothing?"

Meng Bei smacked his lips in confusion.

The next moment, his flesh and blood began to writhe violently as a powerful aura erupted from within him, freezing the surrounding air.

His consciousness was suddenly transported to an ancient world.

The land was blanketed in snow, and towering mountains loomed under an endless white expanse.

Out of nowhere, a white dragon soared across the sky, roaring as its dazzling scales glimmered in the sunlight.

Meng Bei speculated, **"Could the potion contain this white dragon's bloodline?"**

As he pondered, the ground beneath him began to shift. A colossal white creature emerged, its back stretching endlessly into the horizon like a mountain range.

As the creature rose, two towering mountains at the edge of Meng Bei's vision trembled, snow cascading down. Shockingly, these "mountains" turned out to be the creature's ears.

Meng Bei was speechless.

The white dragon let out a distressed whimper and attempted to flee.

But the massive creature casually raised a hand, grabbing the dragon and swallowing it whole, refining it instantly.

The vision ended there, and Meng Bei's consciousness began to return to his body. Just before fully waking, he caught a glimpse of the enormous creature—it was a **giant snow rabbit**, sprawled across a planet, turning most of it white.

---

Meanwhile, outside Meng Bei's dormitory, Xiao Wu approached quietly in the middle of the night.

She hesitated at the door, debating whether to enter. Her purpose was to warn Meng Bei—she didn't want him using their past encounter as leverage against her now that he was part of Shrek Academy.

She planned to make it clear that no matter how Meng Bei tried to threaten her, she would never betray Tang San again. Her feelings for Tang San were steadfast and unwavering.

Just as Xiao Wu was about to push the door open, a sudden oppressive force from Meng Bei's bloodline overwhelmed her, causing her to collapse to her knees.

This bloodline suppression rendered her completely helpless, shattering all her prior resolve.

She crawled into the room involuntarily, as if in worship, inching closer to Meng Bei.

---

Meng Bei, startled by Xiao Wu's sudden entrance, quickly noticed something was wrong.

Xiao Wu's face was flushed, and her expression was filled with adoration and submission. She lunged toward Meng Bei, greedily inhaling his scent.

**"How could anyone resist this?"** Meng Bei thought as his blood surged. He instinctively reached out to hold her, only to find her body had gone completely limp in his arms.

This sense of control was indescribably satisfying.

---

That night...

---

Elsewhere, Tang San lay awake, envisioning the future.

Reflecting on the day's events, he felt he had made a great impression on Meng Bei by helping him integrate into Shrek Academy.

If he and Xiao Wu became a couple someday, Meng Bei, as Xiao Wu's "younger brother," would surely support their relationship.

Yet, an inexplicable pain suddenly stabbed Tang San's chest, as though he had lost something important.

"What's wrong? Did I overlook something today?" Tang San pondered but couldn't figure it out.

---

The next morning.

The crow of a rooster broke the silence, waking the two in Meng Bei's room.

Xiao Wu, covering herself, burst into silent tears.

She wanted to cry aloud, but before she could, Meng Bei covered her mouth.

"Think carefully—if you cry out, everyone will find out," he warned.

Xiao Wu immediately silenced herself, but her tears continued to flow uncontrollably.

She had betrayed Tang San again—this time willingly. If anyone saw her current state in Meng Bei's room, she wouldn't be able to explain herself.

Even worse, she noticed her body wasn't obeying her anymore.

Although not as intense as last night, she still felt a strange impulse whenever Meng Bei touched her, her bloodline yearning for closeness with him.

**"No! This can't happen! My heart belongs to Brother San!"** Xiao Wu thought, panicking.

Quickly, she dressed and fled, avoiding Meng Bei's gaze. However, as she glanced back unintentionally, she found herself captivated by his face.

Though his appearance hadn't changed, there was now an inexplicable charm that drew her in.

Realizing her feelings, Xiao Wu hurriedly left, fearing that if she stayed a moment longer, she wouldn't be able to leave at all.

---

Later that morning, Shrek Academy's group gathered.

This time, the team's destination wasn't the Star Dou Forest. Given Meng Bei's martial soul's traits, their journey would lead them to the **Extreme North** to hunt his third spirit ring.
