Chapter 1: The Strange Meteor
It was a stormy night, clouds surrounded the nearby city. The sounds of car horns and blaring sirens filled in the distance. A beam of light suddenly crossed over the city. A meteor. It zipped across the sky as it passed over the city, dropping what seemed to be a dust or glittery substance. It slowly floated unto the city as the meteor landed somewhere into the distance, never to be seen again. The city fell slowly into the night while the dark developed the city. Rumor has it that the group of scientists that had went to see this mysterious meteor had vanished after they went to study the crash site.

"I can't believe that i got to see the meteor fly right above my house earlier this week!" a scrawny kid in glasses said to someone on the phone, as he walked down the street passing by a small group of three. "YOOOO! DID YOU HEAR THAT, I TOLD YOU THAT I SAW A METEOR FLY BY MY HOUSE!" the first of the teens, a young African American wearing glasses and a bad hairline, Charles, exclaimed. "No one doubted that you saw the meteor, you clown, its more about the fact that you had said it landed in your house and that there was an alien on it demanding to be taken to Area 69." the second teen, also wearing glasses but with a luscious and curly afro with a good hairline, Daniel said in a disappointed manner. The third teen, who was Latino, suddenly remembered, "I overheard this person at the lunchroom say that they were going to sneak into the place that the meteor is being held, TONIGHT!" Gianni mentioned to the group. "And they said that they were going to take a piece of the meteor to sell or something." As if he just discovered the answer to life, Charles burst out "WE GOTTA GO TONIGHT SO WE CAN SELL BITS OF THE METEOR FOR MAD CASH MONEY YO!" Everyone suddenly realized the opportunity that had come across them, "Let's meet at the entrance of the 103 building near where the meteor fell, at lets say.... 9." Gianni said as the group dispersed in different directions towards there homes. Later that day the three friends met up at building 103, but this time two new faces where there. "Nick and Andrew decided to come at the last minute so that they could take a quick peek at the meteor." Gianni said to the group. Nick had decided to come to ffex on the people who didnt have a piece of the meteor and Andrew had decided to come because he was bored. Suddenly slicing through the silence of the room a masked woman danced through the window....

The mysterious masked girl elegantly flew into the window "I am the woman know as...El" she said as she looked at the cast of bimbos and clowns that surrounded her, "You do realize how dangerous this is going to be right?" she said to them. Then breaking the silence the was lingering in the room since her arrival, Charles broke out and said, "FREAK YEAH, I'M HERE TO GET RIC- I MEAN GET A COOL VIEW OF THE METEOR." Everyone in the room sighed. There all were here to do one thing, take a piece of this meteorite for themselves. On the way to the facility where the meteor was being held, E told the team of stealthy boys she had sent to check the guards retinues before they went to take a souvenir. As they had approached where they were supposed to meet with the other team, an eerie sound came from down the hall they had came in. "What the frick was that." Gianni had thought to himself, barely being able to refrain from dipping out the window and running back home. The sound kept getting closer to the door and it became more and more obvious even to the group of idiots that it was most likely not a good idea. Then the sound stopped. Dan waited... Gianni waited...Nick waited...Charles waited...Andrew waited... But nothing happened. "ALRIGHT LET'S GO GET THAT BREAD!!!" Charles said as he ran full speed towards the door,and through the hall, but something strange happened. It was almost like he had got transported to some place else, he vanished as he ran into the darkness. Everyone's hearts and minds raced faster than a mother posting a minion meme on HeadNovel.com. The door suddenly opened and to the surprise of everyone it was...one of the people El had hired to scout the place. He was covered in blood and blisters. "run..." he said as he slowly dropped unto the floor. He was depleted of almost all life as he came in, but he seemed like he was getting weaker at an abnormal rate. El was quiet as she always had been, but this time it was obvious even she was confused. By the time a minute had passed since the disappearance of Charles and the scout running in, everyone was on edge. The scout was completely drained of his energy, nothing left but a lifeless corpse. Everyone was nervous and ready to leave. "Let's get the meteor and Charles, and get out of here before we get caught." Daniel said. Everyone walked to the door that had been left open by the scout. One by one they walked into the darkness. One by one they got lost inside of the darkness of the halls. The eerie sound returned as the groups footsteps grew quieter and quieter, until everyone realized they were split up. The halls grew longer and longer, darker and darker. Gianni ended up with Nick, Dan ended up with Andrew and El, and Charles was alone, in what seemed to be moving halls. At this point, they did not even realize how bizarre the next few weeks would be because of the mysterious meteor that would change their fate and the fate of the world.
