Chapter 3: Movie 0

"Yuta Okkotsu is going to attend Jujitsu High School," Gojo announced.

-----------------------------------

They both perched on a tree, observing Yuta as he strolled along the stone path below.

"Hmm... what do you think?" Gojo asked.

"Kelp," replied Yuki, now a 13-year-old.

"Uh..."

-----------------------------------

"I have come to declare war," a commanding voice echoed through the gathering. "Listen closely, everyone! On December 24th, when the sun sets, we shall commence the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons at the intersection of curses in Shinjuku, Tokyo, as well as the sacred land of jujitsu, Kyoto. A thousand curses will be unleashed upon each place, with one command: massacre. If you wish to prevent a scene straight from hell, do your best to stop it. Let us freely curse each other to death."

-----------------------------------

"Tugging right at her heartstrings, Yuta," Yuki remarked.

Startled, both Yuta and Maki jumped.

"Oh, it's you, Yuki," Maki scowled.

"Yuki?" Yuta questioned.

"Yeah, he's Yuki, one of Gojo's rescues. He's not a sorcerer yet, but he's probably the strongest among the students."

"Wow."

"Anyway, I'm leaving," Maki said.

-----------------------------------

"Oh no, they're in terrible shape, especially Maki," Yuta fretted.

"Leave them to me, Yuta," Yuki assured.

"AH! Yuki!" Yuta jumped. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, yeah, I got this. You go kick ass," Yuki replied.

"Okay!" Yuta turned and jumped down.

"What a special kid," Yuki mused. "Sukuna, can you give me a hand?" With that, Sukuna's markings appeared, and a surge of reversed cursed energy rushed out of him, healing the three of them.

-----------------------------------

"So, how did you do it?" Gojo asked.

"Do what?" Yuki replied.

"Heal them."

"Dunno."

"Well, that's interesting because there was residual cursed energy with the same signature as one of Sukuna's fingers."

"Interesting indeed. Does anyone else know?"

"No, just me."

"Why haven't you told anyone, Gojo? That's highly irresponsible of you."

"Ah, because I wanted to confirm my suspicions. So, you're a finger bearer." It was a statement, not a question.

"And if I say I am? Will you kill me?"

"No, you're too useful to me to kill or let the higher-ups know about Sukuna. And here, have this." Gojo handed over a red 3 Sectional Staff.

"Oh, I'm too useful? And what use do I have?" Yuki replied, shoving the staff down his throat.

"Well, I want you to train Maki. She has the same restriction as you: the less cursed energy she has, the stronger she gets."

"So you noticed it too? She became a bit weaker when Sukuna's cursed energy entered her system. Should she lose all of the very little cursed energy she has, she will be as strong as me."

"Oh, so that's why you sometimes get weaker. Whenever cursed energy enters your system, your restriction gets weaker."

They arrived at the group of first years.

Clap clap clap

"Congratulations, you managed to break the curse," Gojo congratulated.

"Who are you?" the group of first years asked.

"I'm your good-looking teacher, Satoru Gojo," Gojo deadpanned. "I thought the theory Yuta came up with about him cursing Rika sounded interesting, so I requested an investigation into their families. The information about Rika's family came to me a long time ago, but Yuta's family had a lot of gaps. That's when it finally came to light: you're a descendant of Michizane Sugawara, which makes us super distant cousins! Yay!"

"Who's Suga?" Yuta asked.

"One of Japan's three great apparitions," Maki answered.

"He was a super badass sorcerer," Panda added.

"Tuna," Tuna
