Chapter 1: Prologue
King Oliver's POV
She had returned. She returned to take revenge on us. Until now she didn't and will never accept her fate and the truth.
She killed a lot of my soldiers. Bloods are everywhere. A chaos caused by my twin sister.
"What now, brother?" She asked while just laughing on what's happening around us.
"Stop this war now. There were a lot of innocent people died and suffered because of this!" I said to her but she just respond with a playful smile.
"It was your fault after all. If you just didn't took my place to be the next ruler of our Kingdom, this won't happen to our beloved people." She said.
I suddenly remembered the past. Where it was the time my father stepped down on his throne and passed his crown on me. It was supposed to be my sister but our father gave his trust to me. I can't do anything about it. It was our fate.
"Please stop this chaos, sister. I'm begging you." I said.
I know those were the words she wanted to hear from me.
"Look! The mighty King of Gemstone Kingdom is begging to the Dark Shadow Queen. Pity!" She suddenly kicked me on my stomach. I feel like I'm dying this time.
This is all my fault. I should've just rejected to be the next King. Sister, I hope you will forgive me.
She went closer to me and raise up my chin. What happened to my twin sister? She let her jealousy and anger took over herself.
"I'll kill everyone, right in front of you. Who shall I kill first? Your daughter Jewel?" She asked, giving me her evil smirk.
I was suddenly nervous. My daughter, where's my daughter? I just hope her mother took her away from here.
"Ops! Found her. You shouldn't just let your baby girl crawl anywhere. Irresponsible father." She said.
I look at her and she was hugging my daughter.
"Don't! Please, not the Princess!" I beg to her. I can't stand or even just crawl because of the pain.
"Awww, such a beautiful baby. But she will no longer live here." She said as she took a knife from her back.
"Don't—"
"Let the Princess go!"
There was a bright light suddenly burst out. The next thing I saw was my twin sister laying on the ground and enduring the pain.
Then I saw a lady wearing a white hood standing next to my sister. I can't see her face but she is holding my daughter. Who is she?
"Give me back my daughter." I said to her.
"W-who are you?!" My sister shouted but I can hear the pain in her voice.
"You don't have to know who I really am. Take your dark creatures and leave the Royal World." The mysterious lady said.
My sister went so mad and angry. She stood up and her aura became dark. Thunders and lightnings appeared. On her hand, a shining red heart diamond was floating on it.
"I'm putting a spell on your daughter! Her heart and this Heart Jewel will become as one. Once this diamond got broken into pieces, your daughter will die!"
The thunders started striking the ground and there was an explosion. My sister disappeared. The enemies also disappeared. All left here were just the bodies of my fallen brave soldiers.
The mysterious lady was gone. And... My daughter was also missing.
"JEWEL!"
