Chapter 53: The city....
As soon as the car halted, both the girls stepped out of the car as the driver and the staff opened the door for them. Two ladies dressed in a perfect formal suit, welcomed them with warmly shaking hands with them. It was already 8:00am, and the girl was already way behind her schedule. But of course, the staff had no other option but to wait for the girl even if she was one entire day late!
Everything was now ready and two girls hugged each other for a very long time, not wanting to part from each other.
"You better come soon to meet me." Eva smiled looking at her teary eyed sister.
"Of course. In just next ten days, I will be coming to meet. Do you think, I would be able to survive that long without you?" Emily grinned looking at the pretty girl.
After another mushy kisses and hugs, finally the girl stepped inside the plane, while Emily sat back in the car, praying for her little sister's safety. As soon as Eva stepped inside the plane, two more men greeted her warmly, while the pilot too greeted her happily. The girl seated herself in a gigantic reclining chair, of the luxurious Kennedy flight and soon she was served with several juices and other snaks. In another few minutes, the plane had already taken off, flying rapidly towards the city, where a new life awaited the pretty girl.....
For the next five hours, the girl was constantly writting on her laptop and reading a book, which she had recently started. This was the thing about girl. Not only was she an avid reader but also a prolific writer. Getting a job in one of the best publishing houses, was like a dream come true for her.
Since it was a sunday, the girl was due to join early on the monday morning. So all she had was, sunday to do as much shopping as she could and also to settle in her new home.
Soon the plane landed on the grounds of the New York City Airport and the girl was now constantly looking out of the window, feeling extremely elated. "Here we are!!"
She quickly packed her things and wore her sunglasses, stepping down from the plane in style. Everybody who looked at her was left in awe. The girl was now walking through the busy airport, through the VIP exit path and several people turned to look at her, as if she was a famous celebrity.
"Have you seen her before? Look at the bodyguards following her!"
"She is so pretty! Maybe a famous socialite!"
"Does she not look a bit like Shakira?"
"Look at those high heels. They must be costing more than my annual salary!"
The girl in cat-eyed sunglasses was already leaving a mark at the airport and soon she sat inside a red colored top model BMW, which had been recently bought by her father, for her to drive around in the city.
The driver was now driving towards the heart of the city, while the girl looked out of the window excitedly, asking the driver several questions.
"How far is the best shopping mall from my house?"
