Chapter 68: Chapter 67

Something picked Jayden up and threw him on the floor. There was no thud or any other sound but Jayden felt his joints becoming loose. He grinced and got up into a sitting position. Before he could stand, he was in the air once again. Higher he went and then again the drop. Each time, he felt weaker and weaker and he was raised higher and higher. Finally, he was touching the ceiling. He fell from that height. He was not able to move. He was surprised that he survived all these drops and was not dead yet. He waited for another attack. But it never came. He gungerly got to his feet, rubbing his joints and wincing with every move. He reached his bed and laid down, covering himself in the soft blanket. He felt no comfort on the soft mattress or the soft blanket. He closed his eyes and the tears he was holding finally flooded out. He cried his heart out for a very long time.
