Chapter 24: Chapter 23 New friends...
"Sorry, my bad." I say to Blood Stalk as they grab the new bottle from behind us.
As they brought it out we felt a vibration happened behind us. we look back and some water was falling on us.
"Probably the one of the rockets we let go of hit the water and exploded underneath."
I look at the bottle in hand and think about what it is.
It was a pinkish, maybe magenta collared bottle with a cartoonish design on it.
"Octopus?" I say questioningly because of how it looked and how we got this specific one.
"Since we just killed a octopus monster, maybe." I started to wonder but then remembered that we are swimming in the water.
"The boat." I realized and turned to make sure it was still there and it was still in view.
Because of the distance between us I can't tell if they are moving away or not but we should hurry none the less.
"We need to get to the boat before it goes away." I guess we could signal it if we were at the shore line but it might leave by the tome we get there and who knows when another one will be back.
"Maybe we could use the gun to signal them." I tried shooting in the air but water came out instead so that means the gun is out of commission for a while.
"Won't work huh. Guess we could try paddling there until the gun is dry enough to fire to get there attention." I say holding the gun up so it could dry faster.
They could have herd the explosion from the rockets but if they didn't hear it then perhaps they are to far away and we need to be closer so they can see or hear us.
While I was looking at the boat something simmered beneath the waves, closer this time.
The corps that we were caring suddenly disappeared.
"Where did the bodies go? Well, it doesn't really matter since we are going back to civilization anywise." I say to Blood Stalk as we started to swim towards the boat. With water in the gun again I need to let it dry for it to work.
"Monster..." Blood Stalk replied and it made me jump.
"What, where? I said looking all around but didn't see anything.
I then see some ripples appear in random places around us. I then see something emerge from the water.
"Your joking." I say in a defeated tone as I see a fin that looks to belong to a shark and a crab claw sticking out into the surface.
"We need to go, now." I say as I try and get the water out of the gun again in order to hopefully fly there faster.
As I was doing that a fin was sticking out of the water getting closer to us.
It then went back down into the depths and I couldn't see it.
I began to panic and look all around for where this new monster is. Since Blood Stalk said it was a monster it could be some kind of giant shark or another hybrid like the octopus crab.
I thought I felt something brush against my leg and I felt so powerless in the water.
Bubbles started to appear randomly around us. They looked white with a dark red, almost black dot in the middle of the center.
The boat is still so far away, we are now to far from shore to turn back, the gun isn't working, and now a shark or something worse is somewhere around us.
"I hate the water."

Imshocked Hi,
We will be getting into the actual fan-fic side of things soon and it is a bit different than what I invision though it should still be fun, maybe even more so than what I had before.
I will be releasing chapters when I think they are ready so they might be a little inconsistent now.
