Chapter 1: chapter 1: A day to remember.
Hurrying towards the door and facepalming myself for being late... I cursed my car who turned out to be a traitor at the last moment as I found my car tyre punctured... oh well!! the last thing I wanted to ruin my day... My dream job is waiting for me around 4 km far and here I m mourning over my punctured tyre.. the worst thing after I woke up late because my alarm clock ditched me.. or to be specific I broke it.. to savour my beauty sleep...searching for a cab... I came across a familiar face.. oh well the face I can never forget... it was him... the reason why I felt I have a heart to love and the reason why I m heartbroken Ansh...
While engrossed in my thoughts... i didn't realize i was staring at him until he came up to me and our eyes met...
the sparkling blue eyes were deep like before and showed many emotions.. but this time i cant afford to read them.. so I broke the eye lock and looked away...
God this is awkward... until he initiated "hey" was all he said.. "hi" I said still looking away...
"how are you" he asked...
"I m fine thank you" I said and started moving without bothering to ask about him... after all why should I...
he caught my wrist and with this i turned around to face him..
"what"
"hey just listen to me for God's sake"
before I could say... i heard a car honking and i found my ex colleague mia...whom I asked to pick me up after my car ditched me...
he left my hand and moved away sighing... i got into the car and we drove away...
After a half and hour ride
here I m standing in front of crime investigation department, delhi
i took a deep breath and entered the grand building...
after i got to the floor... i slightly opened the door and found a elderly man with wrinkled face but still confident in front of me... I quickly saluted him and addressed myself
"chief commander of IT section Anami Mehra reporting sir"
he looked at me and smiled
"welcome miss mehra.. it's a pleasure to have you here.. but I m afraid you are late on your first day.. not a good impression I guess"
I shook my head and apologized "I m sorry sir... my car's tyre got punctured and I could not find any cab.. I wont let it repeat sir"
"it's fine miss mehra.. just try to come on time tomorrow.."
"yes sir..."
"ok miss mehra your team will be arriving soon.. your cabin is waiting for you... all the best.."
"Thank you sir."
My mood was enlightened after I heard of my cabin.. I am so excited that now I can have my cabin and rule the IT section of CID ,Delhi on which the whole city counts on.. but this post comes with a lot of responsibilities... any problem in IT can lead to a huge loss.. thus I was instructed to be careful... I was led to the cabin by a officer whose name was kavin I suppose...
we reached in front of my cabin , he slightly opened the door and smiled at me "this is your cabin maam... It's a pleasure to work with you from now on... you can decorate it as per your needs and the names of your team members are on your desk... have a good day maam."
"I am already having one.. thanks."
he leaves the cabin and here I am seated on my chair...
oh speaking of good day.. what a day!!!
I woke up late..
my car's tyre got punctured
then i met ansh.. the last person I want to meet
I got late
what can be worse...
let's see the team members...
before I grabbed the file... there was knock on the door..
"come in"
"miss mehra your team is hear."
"I am eager to meet them."
I thought that now I can finally start an actual good day but when my team walked in .... All I could say was...
"what a fucking day!!"
