There are some places in this world that everybody tries to avoid but we wanderer have no choice but to go through this blood-red valley.
We wanderer don't have much of a say but to live in these no man's land like this blood-red valley. Even we try to avoid this kind of land.
These valleys are not that freighting but the red desert that lies beyond, that's something else.
This valley is just like a gateway to true horror.
That desert is also known as the sea of blood. I heard someone from the group being brave and saying that "sea of blood, pfft! that must be exaggerating".
But as soon as we finished crossing these valleys and entered the red desert. I saw the same person with his jaw touching the ground.
Well not his fault, this place is something else. Where ever you see just blood-red sand everywhere.
Anyone can have a chill in their bones after seeing this. Heck! I get chills every time I see this scene.
I don't have anything against this place but this blood-red soil gets everyone on their edges and why wouldn't it this place is the very same land where the truly horrific nature of humans and other races were seen.
Just moving ahead you can see skulls peeking at us from the ground. From time to time, skeletons tied to the crucifix tend to come.
Women in our group quickly put their children in the carriages after seeing these.
I agree with their action, this is not something a child should see. I am not a mother but I can feel their maternal instinct.
"Ground zero of the great battle, this is what they call this place in the historical records," I said.
Countless lives were lost on this same land which we wanderer are crossing.
This is one of the many wounds that humans will not heal even in their lifetime. Even after hundreds of years, this blood-red soil reeks of many deaths.
Wanderer doesn't have any kind of education so I shouldn't mention those horrific thoughts.
It is evening, the sky appears red with the sun going down.
Red sun, red sky, and red land it's like we are in a whole new world.
With everything red, everyone is afraid. Everyone is afraid but it's kind of beautiful to those who don't know the history of this desert.
We have to hurry and find a place to spend the night. Sun is going down quickly and we still haven't set up the camp.
At this rate, we won't see anything that might be a problem.
I was about to tell everyone to set the camp but suddenly ruddy points out the village up ahead.
