Chapter 1: Origin story
A women can be heard screaming bloody murder in a hospital, the women was giving birth to twins today. Her husband watched from beside her as she gripped his hand probably breaking a few fingers but the man didn't voice his pain and only sat and supported his wife cause she was going through hell compared to him.
"Aaaaaaaaaarrggghhh! JUST GET THEM OUT OF ME ALREADY!" The woman screamed at the doctor as she pushed so as to get the babies out.
"Just push a little more." The doctor said nervously to the women as she and many other women are terrifying during childbirth.
"Aaarrgh! WHAT DO YOU MEAN PUSH THATS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF HOURS! Aargh! I SWEAR ADAM AFTER THIS YOUR GETTING A VASECTOMY!" The women yelled so loud even people not in the room heard her pledge. The man tensed the moment his name was said and started trembling when she finished the sentence.
A while later the women was currently unconscious with her husband next to her gripping his wrist as he endures the pain while the doctor and nurses left the room with the two babies to clean them and test their health. Unknown to the parents the children actually died.

At a lab a couple hours earlier another woman was going into labor, she was having twins, though they were guaranteed an abnormal life as this woman was the subject of several experiments that would make the children in her womb the perfect weapons. This woman was being ushered by a scientist and a few paramedics into an ambulance. The scientist was on the phone with someone talking about the woman's condition and the ethical problems with doing experiments that extreme on unborn fetuses.
The group arrived at the hospital, the same hospital as the married couple by coincidence, and the woman was quickly transported to a private room but before she could reach a room she screamed the air out of her lungs and a light came from her vagina.

Back to present.
The hospitals main entrance is trampled through by military and government personnel, they are looking for the scientist and the pregnant woman. One man runs up to the front desk and says in a rushed but assertive tone to a nurse manning it.
"Maternity, where is it?"
The woman stammered in response as she was trying to remember."U-up th-third."
"Third floor boys! go, go, go!" The man said as all the military and government personnel quickly vacated the area and instead headed towards the elevators and stairs, racing to the maternity ward hoping to catch the scientist and woman. The maternity ward was quickly flooded and the pursuers scouted for the scientist and women. They immediately found the scientist as he was facing a set of double doors. "There he is! Brandyworth!" The man who asked the lady at reception for the location of the maternity ward shouted as he pointed at the scientist. The man closest to the scientist grabbed him by the shoulder as the man who pointed him out asked where the babies were. The man who grabbed him turned him around to try and force an answer but the scientist was crying.
"They're dead" the scientist said as he sobbed.
Meanwhile at the room of the married couple the two could be crying having assumed their babies were dead, but as the man began comforting his wife saying it's not her fault a nurse came in with two new born babies. The married couple were reserved in believing their children survived but the nurse reassured them. The couple were relieved and overjoyed at seeing their children they forgot entirely about their crying. The wife held the children and named them, they knew the genders of the children beforehand through ultrasounds, so they already had names thought out.
"Look Adam, our little babies, our daughter will be Samantha Eve Wilkins, and for our son, Aiden Adam Wilkins" the woman then gave out a little chuckle "our little Adam and Eve."
After sixteen or so hours Mrs Wilkins has recovered from the strain of giving birth to twins and currently her and her husband are driving home with their kids in tow. After a couple of weeks they became confident enough to bring the babies out with them.
They had brought the babies to a movie based off a comic book, Science Dog. They have just seen the movie and left the theater. The adults were discussing whether the movie was appropriate for their kids. 'It was not' is what they agreed. Whilst they were talking the baby girl had awoken and was curiously looking around, then in an alleyway she spot a man in a lab coat watching them. The baby, Eve, tried pointing out the man as she made baby noises like "da" and "gu", though she got sleepy shortly after and was out like a light.
Six years passed and the twins became adorable little children with boundless energy and curiosity. Adam and Eve would run around and annoy their parents to no end even though their parents still loved them. Adam was a very soft spoken child that was asking questions constantly even though he would answer them shortly later. Eve on the other hand was a boisterous and confident child. Eve had fair skin, long auburn hair and her face was sprinkled with freckles while Adam had medium length blonde hair and fair skin, his eyes were a beautiful green just like his sisters.
One night they were being babysat and as their babysitter, who was a teenage boy, was doing his homework. He asked one of his questions aloud when Eve barged in with her brother behind her, they were playing tag. Absent-mindedly Eve answered the question the boy struggled on, and proceeded to call him stupid. The boy had an idea, get the answers from the kids by bribing them. And so he did. Adam was a genius at physics and probability while Eve was a genius for chemistry and application. Though they were both geniuses for all the sciences.
After some time their parents found out about their talents and sent them to an institute for gifted children. When Eve turned eleven she got kicked out as she didn't meet the standards of the institute in areas other than science. When their parents found out Eve was kicked out their dad and mum berated her. Eve stormed of and went to her room to rant and cry. A knock came from her door."Who is it and go away!" Eve yelled as she was not in a good mood for obvious reasons. Adam walked in with a plate of chicken and vegetables, he closed the door and sat on Eves bed beside her and gave her the plate.
"Don't forget to eat, and it's not your fault your just a kid" Adam said to Eve as though giving condolences at a funeral. Eve was frustrated at the pity her twin brother was showing her "Your just a kid as well, and you didn't get kicked out" Eve retorted with a glare at her brother. Adam grinned as he closed his eyes, crossed his arms, puffed out his chest, and raised his nose. "well I am smarter, and learn faster. I'm just special" Adam said in a proud tone. Eve hit him and then turned away to eat her food.
"Ugh, Chicken! I don't want chicken, I want a cheeseburger!" Eve shouted in anger but then something happened that surprised them both, a pink light encompassed the plate and when the light dissipated there was a cheeseburger where her chicken use to be."How did you do that? Can you do it to my food too? Please~" Adam said first in surprise but it shifted into begging."hmmm? No-" Eve responded smugly. So Adam tried desperately to do the same thing."Oh magic light, please bless me and give me a cheeseburger. Pretty please~" Adam said as he got in a kneeling position on the floor. Eve laughed at her brothers antics until a white light slowly raised from the floor and went into him.
"what the hell?!" Eve shouted as she saw this. Adam only stood up and confidently said "told you I was special" as he looked at Eve. She was first a little frustrated but then said in a sassy tone "we're both special, but I also have a cheeseburger" as she picked up the burger and took a bite. Adam then kneeled and pleaded for a bite of the burger but Eve refused while laughing at her brother.
Adam stayed a few more years at the institute. Eve at this time was going to public school. During the following years they have spent using and learning about their'powers'. Eve apparently became a vigilante, or hero as she calls it. Over these years they have gotten better grasps on their powers.
Adam graduated from the institute at just thirteen, just a few years after Eve was kicked out. He had wanted to join Eve in public school as he wanted to make friends and be social, their parents agreed as they thought it would be important for Adam to have friends around his age.
So Adam joined Eve's school in her grade. And then their lives progressed.

Sorry about the wordy chapter. Next will be the beginning of the series. I will take some of the pieces from the show as it better shows Marks getting powers at school.
