Chapter 49: Chapter 49: SSJ GOD
A few days later-
Vegeta is standing in front of Whis right now and both of them looking at each other in silence. The first person who broke the silence is Whis
"Have you decided?"
"Yes… I have"
Whis gave a satisfied smile and didn't say anything further.
Bulma, who is watching this all while standing by the side of Whis is confused about these two men weirdly talking and smiling at each other.
Whis then asks Vegeta
"I can feel that you have been training quite well, that too in a direction that should need some instructions but I guess you have more brain than brawl.
Though, wouldn't it have been better if you had asked me for some guidance?
Who knows, you may have already achieved God Ki, right?"
"!"
Vegeta is surprised to hear that Whis has sensed the change in him by just having a talk within a second but then again, he had expected this much from Whis
For the past few days, Vegeta had been training his body to only absorb the purest form of Ki from nature by creating one after another spirit bombs and then absorbing the power of the Spirit bomb in his Sage God form.
And it didn't take Vegeta long to understand that his adaptability to pure ki has increased by a lot.
The fight against Beerus has changed Vegeta's body a lot, his body has reached the max level of adaptability, and because his body was regenerating at a high speed while receiving damage from Beerus's God Ki
Vegeta's body had already adapted to it and this training phase just released the stored memory this helped Vegeta's body adapt to the purest Ki mortal world could offer him and in just a few days he reached his goal.
But that is not the end.
Vegeta's body remembers the sensation of SSJ God Goku's Ki, thus he can adapt or transform into the SSJ God form (if he trains further and further) without needing to train under Whis. Also, Vegeta knows the proper training method for attaining the Divine Ki and he has been doing that so… he is free to take his own path.
Still, Vegeta thought about the idea of training under Whis which is no small thing, so he replies
"Whis San, I have a question
Can Mortal Ki hurt a person who is using God Ki?"
"Yes, they can hurt, and as far as I have seen it, you were able to push back Lord Beerus didn't you?"
"yes, but I didn't even land a scratch on him
So, it's quite hard to believe that a man can go against a god"
In the final phase of the fight against Beerus, Vegeta was in a rage state, thus Vegeta don't remember much and by the time he gained consciousness, Beerus was already healed up.
Whis smiles and answers
"A man can go against god if he knows how to control and wield his strength depending on the conditions he is given.
Can a man hurt a god? Yes, he can, and though it will require a huge amount of power still it is possible but more than raw power, you need to know how you can control your ki.
Only those with the highest level of Ki control are able to utilize their power in the right manner and then only they can inflict damage to a god."
"And that is also the way to the God Ki… right?"
Whis smiles
"Prince Vegeta, you are truly a smart person and you are absolutely right.
The energy you all produce is pure, very pure but the moment it leaks out and gets in contact with the outside world, your Ki turns impure
Thus, you have to retain that Ki inside you, and then only you can achieve the God Ki.
After hearing your answer, I believe that you are near the realms of new power.
You will soon attain the God Ki"
Vegeta smiles, he got all of the answers that he was thinking about all this time after his encounter with the destroyer.
He is satisfied.
Seeing Vegeta's satisfied smile, Whis asks him "Are you interested in getting trained under me?"
"!"
Whis is the teacher of Beerus, he is someone who resides in the realms of gods/ divine beings, and in the original story, it was Vegeta who threw away his pride and asked for guidance from Whis
But right now, It's Whis who is asking if Vegeta wants to train under his guidance.
'The story is changing…. It is!'
Vegeta didn't think much about such a great offer, he agrees but before leaving, he gives some training instructions to Raditz and Nappa.
He also visits Gohan and passes the knowledge of holding Ki inside and also tells him to remember the sensation of God ki in him and make sure that his own ki is as pure as the God Ki.
Vegeta also tells Gohan about the pure Ki inside Spirit Bomb and he can try to hold that pure Ki in him if it's possible and if he is able to do it, then he will hold a power that he had never imagined.
The instructions are vague as Vegeta didn't want to let Gohan become so strong that he will be left behind but he also believed that the will of the world will allow Gohan to attain new heights with just this many instructions.
Gohan is a genius, let's not worry about him.
Time passes as Vegeta trained under Whis.
On the other hand, Goku has been farming all this time. He wants to train and be as strong as Vegeta and also wants to know how he can get Kaio-Ken Infinity but he couldn't do so because Chichi didn't allow him to do so.
But when he heard about Vegeta training under Whis, he couldn't hold himself and he also came to train under Whis.
Also, while Goku was farming, his son Gohan was farming something else
GOOD NEWS, Pan is born.
Time passed and Goku leaves for Lord Beerus's realm.
At Beerus's Realm-
The whole place is filled with a different air as compared to the Mortal world, which was noticed by Vegeta the moment he arrived.
Because Vegeta knew the training method to attain the God Ki, it didn't take much time for Vegeta to achieve his goals
*SWISH*
"DAMN, this place is something else.
Can't be compared to Kaio Sama's place"
Goku is surprised to be in the realm where Gods live and he can also tell that this place is special, he gazes around the whole place and he also finds Vegeta standing far away in complete silence
Seeing Vegeta all silent, Goku tries to call him but Whis stops him as he finds something amusing
"What happened Whis San, is there something wrong?"
"It is better for you to not disturb him Goku San, as Prince Vegeta is going to show you something really good very soo-
Oh- it's here"
"HUH?"
*BWOOOOOOOOOOOSH*
A wave of wild winds blew around the place as Vegeta's power rose higher and higher, Goku's eyes go wide as he pays every single attention to what Vegeta is doing
Vegeta is standing in complete silence and then, suddenly the rise in power disappears
"????
What happened?
Did he mess up?"
"No"
*shhhhhhhh*
Vegeta opens his eyes slowly and so his hair color starts changing into different color. From dark brown to red.
*SSJ GOD*
"What?
Vegeta changed into SSJ GOD? How?
Damn, you are leaving me behind in dust Vegeta, that's totally wrong"
Goku is shocked to see Vegeta in SSj God form without any rituals but more than being shocked, he is happy to know that his rival has become such a strong person that he is the one who will now chase after him.
Though, Goku had long seen the difference between him and Vegeta when he saw the battle between Vegeta and Beerus
But today, he has completely accepted that Vegeta is stronger than him in terms of both power and skills.
Vegeta hears praise from Goku, he gently turns around and tells him "It really feels good to hear praise from you Kakarot
But let me clear this one thing for you, this SSJ God form (only SSJ GOD form boost, not his overall power) that I have attained is weaker in terms compared to the one gained through rituals
This form is only half as powerful as the ritual one but you have all the buffs from so Ki so… it is pretty good I guess.
Though i can feel that i can harness this form more and take it to the next level, for now, this is it."
"Isn't that great?
The ritual one needs 5 people with good hearts and also it takes time to activate whereas this one is quick.
Damn, you are really leaving me far behind
Now, tell me how you achieved this skill and also how I can access all other skills that you use"
The Sage God and Kaio-Ken Infinity, Goku has been asking Vegeta to teach him these two skills but even though Vegeta literally told him (to test something)
Then also Goku was never able to attain these things.
Vegeta wanted to see if Goku can also learn skills from other anime worlds but when he saw how he failed even when he is the favorite son of the creator, Vegeta smiled and this cleared that the unique skills he creates are going to belong to him only.
Still, Vegeta helps Goku in learning things about attaining God Ki, like the Ki control thing and then he leaves the place to train further.
Goku sees the back of Vegeta with a big smile, Whis asks his reason to smile and Goku replies
"After the battle against Majin Buu, Vegeta has changed a lot.
Before that, he was an arrogant fellow-
Though he is still an arrogant guy, at least he is not what he used to be in the old days.
He has changed up a lot and also, having such a strong rival means that I have a reason to work harder than yesterday
hehe"
