Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Absorbing Great Ape’s power
Trunks and Tien saved Vegeta from Cell and then they, with Piccolo, went to the Kami Lookout.
From here, the story goes the same, Krillin didn't press the remote to self-destroy the androids and the cell manages to absorb Android 18
Cell's power level rose so high that everyone on the whole earth felt a huge pressure on them and when everything calmed down and his transformation is completed, the Z warriors trembled in fear
Perfect Cell, power level – 8 billion
Kei, after he ate the Senzu Bean, could feel the power of Cell and this made him frustrated about his fate of being only no.2 forever and ever in this world.
He hates his situation but right now there is nothing he can do right now.
Soon, Cell announces the Cell game and then Goku and Gohan also came out of Hyperbolic Time Chamber and they are way stronger than before
Goku and Gohan, both of them have surpassed Kei by a very high margin and this made Kei really angry but he remained silent.
Their current strength (base) is
Goku- 100 million
Gohan- 110 million
Goku checks on Cell and then he also brings Dende to earth, while Piccolo enters the training room.
Goku and Gohan are still training, keeping their super Saiyan form for as long as possible while they do their everyday work, and enjoying their life until the final day when they will fight Cell
Soon Piccolo also gets out of Hyperbolic Time Chamber, his strength has also increased by a huge margin but it's not much as compared to the original storyline.
Piccolo- near 2 billion (full power)
Now, it's time for Vegeta and Trunks to go in.
Inside Hyperbolic Time Chamber-
Kei parts his way with Trunks and goes very deep in order to vent his anger.

Kei knows the true power of Cell from the original story, he was not supposed to be so strong but, in this story, he is way stronger than he anticipated him to be
And above all, Cell survived even after taking his Signature move a few times, how?
Kei was already irritated because he was not able to fully absorb the power of Great Ape and also, he couldn't get the power boost he expected to get when he did his training with Kiao-Ken, rather his body started adapting at a very low speed
HOW?
"ENOUGH OF THIS WORLDS BULLSHIT!!!
I tried to take things slow, but it was stupid!
A VERY BIG PATHETICALLY STUPID DECISION!
I shall now only step out when I have reached the power of at least SSJ4
I still have my tail, I still have the edge over others

I WILL WIN!!!!!"

Kei is filled with rage and he has made up his mind to achieve power that no one has achieved so far.
Being the 2nd main character, Kei thought that he can take things easy and he will easily surpass Goku and all others.
But this was a BIG STUPID DECISION
He had the knowledge, he had the body that can adapt and he also had the plot armor of not dying, yet he didn't take things seriously
But one after another defeat and being not able to literally put up with anyone, even when he had the power to do so, has made Kei's anger go out of control
And he can finally feel just how bad Vegeta must have felt when he had to lose like this, even when he had all the chance in the world, just because the author (original DBZ author) wanted to highlight Goku
Kei had enough of all these bullshits, he is now dead serious about using his knowledge and time in this hyperbolic chamber to its full extent and getting the desired power level he wants and until that happens, he won't step out.
And the first thing he did is…. Calming down his mind.
*deep breath*
"Even if you have the knowledge, success is not guaranteed
But no matter what, I shall get it"
At this, a voice came inside the head of Kei
"So you are going to work on that failed theory of yours again?" Vegeta asks
"Yes, I will"
"You idiotic rat, you may have gained some power boost but that was not so high as compared to what you told me
Do you really think that you can achieve that power just because you desire it?
HMPH a rat's delusions"
"Call me an idiot, rat, or a delusional
But I shall proceed with my theory and achieve the result that I desire
NO MATTER WHAT IT SHALL COST
I will show the world, why I remained undefeated in my past life
WHY, WHEN I STEPPED INTO THAT RING, PEOPLE FEARED ME!

Vegeta didn't say anything, he silently listened and then he said "HMPH SUIT YOURSELF" and then he goes back into his slumber.
Kei sits down with his leg crossed and closes his eyes, his first goal is to absorb the Great Ape's power and he will open his eyes only when he shall achieve that power level
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and soon a year is about to pass.
Trunks have achieved a new height in his power and he also times to time checked his father who is still sitting still in a complete silence
He doesn't know what his father is doing for one whole year, but he can sense and tell one thing
And that is, his father is no longer the same as he was before and there is a change in his father's hair length and volume.
There were times when he tried to call his father but he never gave an answer.
Trunks clearly remember that the time limit inside the chamber is 2 days (2 years) so he thought that his father has planned to come out later, thus he alone steps out of the chamber
Kei, for one whole year, inside his mind, fought against the Great Ape form that is inside him.
There were many times when he got defeated but he still kept on trying while making sure that Vegeta doesn't try to overpower him and gain control.
After a full one-year pass, Kei finally opens his eyes.
*whoooooh*
"This… feels interesting"
