Chapter 17: Back to New York
Jack went to the New York Sanctum through the portal that was in the Kamar-Taj, soon he found Stephen who already knew what he had to do and was using the Cloak of Levitation and seemed ready to fight.
"Thanks for helping me Stephen, I know this is your first fight after learning magic, you can rest easy and just support us that with your help we will win easily." Said Jack seeing that Stephen looked tense with his first fight.
"It might be my first fight, but you don't have to worry about protecting me, at Kamar-Taj we train to face beings that can destroy the earth, I'm not afraid of common villains," Stephen said with his usual arrogance.
"I believe you, but be careful, because we are not going to face common villains, and if it is as I imagine it, we will have difficulty even with your help," Jack said seriously.
He wasn't sure if they really had six villains to face them if it was just the 3 villains that Spider said the fight would be easy, but knowing well the comics and movies Jack was pretty sure they would face the Sinister Six.
"I had an idea that could be good for our fight, I think that several villains will show up to face us, and maybe we will have to face them all at the same time, so I was thinking that we could use magic to have an advantage," Jack said.
"What do you mean using magic to create an advantage?" Stephen didn't understand what Jack meant.
"We will face several enemies, when we defeat an enemy, the fight will not end, we will have to continue the fight, even if we used magic or Spider Man trapped them with his web, the enemies we defeat can run away, or even escape than we used to arrest them and they could go back to fighting."
"Spider Man won't want us to kill our enemies, and we can't leave them to the police, so I was thinking of creating a magical prison here in the basement of the Sanctum Sanctorum." Jack managed to say what he thought.
Jack was wondering what happened in the Spider Man No Way Home movie when Spider Man and Doctor Strange faced the Sinister Six, the difference this time was that in addition to Spider Man, Jack, and Doctor Strange would also fight.
Doctor Strange created a magical prison in the basement of the New York Sanctum to hold members of the Sinister Six who had come from other universes, so when he trapped them all, Strange could release the spell and send them back to their universe.
Even if this time the objective of the fight was to arrest the members of the Sinister Six and not send him to their universe, Jack thought that it would be very useful to be able to defeat them and send them to the magical prison, after the end of the fight they could arrest the villains properly and send them to common prison.
Jack explained to Stephen what he was thinking, Stephen, thought this idea was very good and maybe it could be used in the future too when facing enemies that didn't know magic.
The preparation of this magic was very complicated, but after it was prepared, they only needed to attack the enemy with magic and a portal would send them directly into the magic prison, if the enemy didn't know how to use magic, the enemies wouldn't be able to escape.
Jack helped Doctor Strange to create the prison and prepare everything and finally, they were ready to face several enemies and defeat them easily.
Jack opened a portal to where he and Spider Man used to wait while on patrol, Jack wanted to surprise Peter but it looked like Peter was busy trying to get Aunt May and Betty Brant to safety.
Jack opened a portal to his room and left his things there and put on the brand and clothes he used to wear with the bulletproof vest, Jack had already bought 3 different vests after the last few months, but he knew that soon I wouldn't need a bulletproof vest anymore.
Stephen found the outfit that Jack was wearing strange, but remembered having seen a picture of Jack in that outfit in the newspaper fighting the bandits.
Jack explained that he wore the mask to avoid the government and that he wore the bulletproof vest because the bad guys could kill him in the past, after explaining Jack called Peter to say that they were waiting for him.
"Hi Spider, I arrived in New York, I came with a friend who will help us fight against the villains, we are waiting for you in the place where we usually stay," Jack said hoping that Peter would be surprised.
"You brought a friend, that's great, I also found a friend to help us since you said the fight can be complicated, we'll get there soon." Said Peter and hung up the phone.
This time it was Jack who was surprised to hear that Peter would bring a friend to fight the Sinister Six, if it was someone powerful Jack might start to feel sorry for the Sinister Six, after all, he thought that only he, Spider Man, and Doctor Strange were the enough to defeat the Sinister Six.
Jack waited with Stephen for a while and soon he saw Spider Man and knew who was the friend he was talking about, it was the Human Torch, Jack knew that in the comics Johnny Storm was Spider Man's friend.
But since he hadn't seen Johnny Storm even after spending several months fighting together with Spider Man, he thought that his arrival had caused a change in their friendship.
"Jack, you don't know how happy I am to see you again, you might already know who my friend is, Human Torch from the Fantastic Four," Peter said happy to see Jack.
"It's nice to finally meet you, Jack, I've seen you several times in the papers but as I was busy I couldn't come to see you in person," Johnny said laughing.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too Human Torch, I'm a huge fan of you and the Fantastic Four," Jack said laughing.
"Jack, aren't you going to introduce your friend? I don't think I've ever seen him before." Peter asked when he saw Stephen in a strange outfit and wearing a cape.
"Nice to meet you Spider Man and Human Torch, my name is Stephen Strange, you can call me Doctor Strange." Said Stephen introducing himself with elegance.
Soon the four began to talk to get to know each other, in fact only Peter continued to hide his identity, the other 3 presented themselves with their real identity since Jack took off his mask.
