Chapter 154: Apocalypse 3

The other X-Men saw how En Sabah Nur transformed Archangel's wings, and then they saw that Archangel started to follow Apocalypse's orders after his powers were enhanced, so they understood that En Sabah Nur could control some mutants just as Mystique said.

"My son, now show how powerful you are, attack your old friends," said En Sabah Nur, pointing to Xavier and Jubilee.

Archangel quickly flew and approached where Rogue was protecting Xavier and Jubilee. Archangel began firing the metallic feathers from his wings, almost destroying the ice shield that Rogue had created, forcing her to regenerate it.

With Archangel fighting and occupying Rogue, Apocalypse could focus on capturing the other mutants. He attacked Storm while Jean concentrated telepathic shields to defend against Magneto.

Jean Grey became irritated seeing that Apocalypse attacked Storm, whom she was protecting. Thus, subconsciously, she began to release the seals of her mind, releasing some of her powers that were keeping the Phoenix dormant to attack Apocalypse.

Magneto noticed that Jean Grey was getting stronger, so he intensified his attacks, causing Jean to return her focus to the telepathic shield to avoid being killed by Magneto. However, little by little, she released more of her power, and Magneto also increased the intensity of the attack.

Magneto and Apocalypse didn't know they were helping to free the Phoenix, so En Sabah Nur captures Storm, who was lying on the ground and begins using his powers to awaken her genetics and control her mind so that Storm follows him.

"My daughter, accept this new power, you should not control only a few lightning and winds, you can control all elements as you wish, create several tornadoes, snowstorms, and dozens of lightning," said En Sabah Nur.

Storm managed to resist Apocalypse's control better than Angel and Magneto. En Sabah Nur was surprised and did not expect her to have such a strong will. Soon, Storm improved her powers, but En Sabah Nur did not know for how long he could control her.

Jean Grey saw Apocalypse controlling Storm, and she became even angrier. She was protecting Storm, and Jean felt it was her fault that Storm was being controlled. Thus, Jean began to be affected by the Phoenix that awakened.

Jean released more and more mental blocks that restricted her strength but also kept the Phoenix dormant. Magneto was surprised because he was almost using his maximum force, and Jean still managed to attack Apocalypse even while defending herself from Magneto.

"Storm, attack our enemies, I still have to get someone," said En Sabah Nur, seeing Jean starting to attack him.

Storm was under control even though she struggled to free herself. So, she had no choice but to attack Jean and Xavier. Storm began to control the storms and created many tornadoes that began to pull Xavier and Jubilee into the midst of the tornadoes.

Rogue was surprised by this and held Xavier and Jubilee in her hands. Rogue still held the ice shield to protect herself from Archangel's never-ending metal wings. Storm used a blizzard and lightning to attack Jean.

Jean was surprised by the power of Storm's attacks. She had to use her powers more to just protect herself from the attacks of Storm and Magneto. En Sabah Nur was using his powers to strengthen Magneto and Storm even more.

En Sabah Nur was surprised to see how powerful the X-Men were. Magneto, Archangel, and Storm were now more powerful mutants since Apocalypse improved their powers. Even when he reigned in the past as a god, they would be the best.

But Rogue and Jean could protect themselves from the attacks of the three even with Apocalypse increasing their powers. This was making En Sabah Nur more excited, knowing that he could lead these powerful mutants after finishing off the Avengers.

Soon En Sabah Nur went to Cyclops to capture the last of Apocalypse's Horsemen. All the X-Men and Mutants from the Brotherhood now knew what Apocalypse was doing, so they knew Cyclops would be captured.

Professor Xavier saw this too and was regretful. He knew some of Apocalypse's powers and objectives but thought he could stop him, all to help Magneto, who was now using all his power to kill Jean Grey.

Professor Xavier also realized that Jean was awakening the Phoenix, but he couldn't stop her. If Jean hadn't increased her powers, she might have died already. Xavier only regretted not calling Battle Sage when he could have.

Now Scott, Storm, and Angel were going to be captured, Beast and Colossus were injured from fighting Juggernaut, and Jean Grey was almost releasing the powers of Phoenix. It would be difficult to help Jean control this power.

Fortunately, Hope and Rachel could help Jean control this power. They had already said that in the worst case, they could try to share the Phoenix with Jean. After all, both of them had already controlled the Phoenix for a while, and they said that in another universe, Jean had also managed to do it.

When Professor Xavier thought this, Jean, who was irritated and under pressure thinking she could die, saw that En Sabah Nur intended to control Scott as well. She couldn't allow that and released all the barriers in her mind.

"Jean, no! Control this power! You will kill us all!" Xavier shouted.

Magneto, who was nearby using his powers to attack, reacted quickly and managed to create a force field projection as a shield to protect himself. Magneto was then thrown dozens of meters in the air until he managed to stop in mid-air, flying.

Rogue's ice shield was melted, and some metal feathers from Archangel hit Rogue, Xavier, and Jubilee. Fortunately, Archangel managed to regain some control of his body to not kill the three while En Sabah Nur was shocked by the strength of the Phoenix.

Jubilee was seriously injured and passed out. Charles was protected by Rogue and only had several cuts on his body. Rogue didn't get hurt because her body was in the form of metal and had the hardness of Captain Marvel's body.

Jean fell to the ground, put her hands on her head in pain, and screamed loudly. The power of the flames increased and began to hurt the mutants who were further away and had less strength. Iceman suffered several injuries because his defense decreased, and Pyro attacked him.
