"Let the games begin."

The black cloth on the table covered a rounded, large object in the middle.

A roulette wheel? Thanh Van shifted in his seat, distracted by Kim Jihun's presence.

In the game of roulette, the table was lined into rectangular sections intended for betting. However, the velvet table top here was untouched green beneath the black cover.

Something was off.

"Once you enter the game, you cannot leave without a condition established by the dealer or the system," the NPC started, his gloved hands folded neatly over the table. "Forcefully leaving will result in immediate execution." 

"We will start with a simple game of roulette."

"What do we bet with- survival points?" Thanh Van mused. He had enough to spare for the rest of the players-

"This table does not take survival points." A little mirth bleeded into the NPC's cold voice and the hair on Thanh Van's nape stood on end. "In this game, no bets are placed."
