Chapter 49: Second Summon

"Earth shard!"

Ace said as he gave chase after the king. To him, the king of the over-world was simply a scapegoat he was going to use for an experimental study on the elements he had awakened.

A massive stone spiked wall suddenly shot out of the ground in front of the king, blocking its escape within mere seconds.

"Arrurru!" The king cried in its gribbish language as it slammed into the wall, a portion of its outer scale shield breaking off.

Ace dashed towards the reeling king, blasting himself with magic towards the spider. He successfully got to it, mounting to its back after activating his cloud jump and plunged his sword into the centerline of its core.

Another deafening screech filled the whole canvas, the creatures battling Nyx and Six receiving the alarm that their king was hurt.
